Well apparently in this game I play called Maple Story people are saying that one of the top hackers in the game has been hacking the database and leaking out peoples login information. Is this possible? If it is possible how? If not why?

It's possible but very unlikely, probably just a rumor or scam. Why worry about it.
Well all these people are trying to act smart on the maple story forums and It's hard proving them wrong without ethical answers and they just keep throwing this back at me "H0w du u explen hou my frend was hax'd then?" It's really hard to break the ice when that hits you.

Most of the time you're dealing with kids who are willing to believe radical ideals to explain things they can't understand.
Tell them they could have a keylogger on their system (very likely), someone could be using an exploit in game (very unlikely), or they could have been scammed (somewhat likely).
Either way, just ignore them and tell them they're silly for thinking that and move on. It's out of your hands.
