MP Charlie Elphicke has been suspended by the Conservatives after "serious allegations" that have been referred to the police, the party has said.
Mr Elphicke, a former party whip who has been the MP for Dover since 2010, has denied any wrongdoing.
This is the first time any allegation against him has been reported, we don't even know what the allegation is. Must be some serious shit for the party to react like this
HOLY SHIT he's my MP! :v:

"According to reports on Friday night, the Conservative whips received an allegation about Mr Elphicke shortly after Theresa May became Prime Minister, but the woman who made the complaint did not want to involve the police."
Judging by recent news and that statement seems like this'll be a sexual harassment thing.

There's a huge spotlight on sexual harassment in Parliament at the moment so if he did do something and there's even a hint of evidence to suggest he did then they'd get rid of him without a second thought.
If they really wanted him gone they would have got rid of him by now.
If this is how May's chaos coalition goes down I'm going to laugh.
What a great time for Tory suspensions. Brexit is just over a year out. Progress: nearly none.
Strong and stable lads... Strong and stable...
I'd like to laugh but these are the people pushing the brexit buttons right now, whomever takes over next is going to be in deep shit, take the blame for the Tories mess and we'll just see them elected again because nobody seems to fucking remember anything more that four years ago.
