But the KAP released a statement this afternoon from party president, Max Menzel, saying Ms Corbett “has withdrawn her application for endorsement”. "Tess has contacted me this morning and has offered to withdraw her application and I have accepted her request, on behalf of the party", Mr Menzel said. "Tess has great ability and the recent incident is regrettable."

Bernard Gaynor

not want his children to be taught by a gay or lesbian person.
What a unfortunate last name to have with this view.
snip this is good, I guess
Bernard Gaynor stepped down shortly after he backed up her views Bob Katter was on the Project tonight and got his ass completely beaten, I'll post a link when someone finds it
It's a weird moment for me as a homosexual, because I feel that all over the developed world "Ew, they're fags" isn't being accepted anymore, whereas it had for a long time before. It's a little disorienting, really. I hope the trend continues until you can only argue against a homosexual's access to his or her rights with an actual argument.
KAP deeply confuses me, its the perfect blend of social conservatist fuckery and agarian socialism

At least to me, i cant see a real rational, actual argument as to why homosexuals should not have the same rights as the rest of us.

Bernard Gaynor is a massive tool: https://twitter.com/BernardGaynor/status/294024596523458560
I wouldn't let a gay person teach my children and I am not afraid to say it #auspol

Bernard Gaynor is a massive tool: https://twitter.com/BernardGaynor/status/294024596523458560
I really got a kick out of the fact that only one person is supportive of his post. Made me smile, good way to start the day knowing that moral arrogance somewhere else is falling flat on it's face.
It's a little disorienting, really. It runs down to either "they're icky" or "my invisible friend told me they're bad," neither of which are valid arguments for anything regarding basic human rights.

Once the majority of the world begins to respond with either "Who cares what you think." or "Your imaginary friend is full of shit." we'll be on our way to a better tomorrow.

Still a better chance than an atheist (54%)
