• Motherboard buzzing every 13 seconds

I've already restarted the cosmos, which was something that was recommended. The computer runs fine and all the parts are accounted for but my dad's motherboard buzzes twice about every 13 seconds, from start up. I don't know what his rig is but I don't think that's too important. If knowing would help, then I'll bother him to gather all his specs and send them to me. Thanks in advance
Is it like hissing buzzing noise or more a fan buzzing noise?
I would guess closer to a hissing buzz.
Check your temps using, Speccy. You can post a screenshot here. Also, if you can, record an audio of the buzzing noise.
My dad isn't home so I can't get any new info right now, but I remember him saying his CPU was around 50c on HWMonitor and the buzzing happens twice every 13 seconds. EDIT: If anyone's wondering what happened to this thread, my dad found out that his CPU fan wasn't doing its job, replaced it, and now everything is working fine.
That's a quite normal temperature I think, atleast my old graphics card was 60c :v: Tell him to clean out the fans with compressed air, and maybe some other dusty parts of the computer too.
That depends on what his CPU is.For instance, my CPU is a AMD Phenom II X4 955. it's max temp is 68c. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/phenom2_955/
record the sound and upload it
