Diddnt MMA just come out?
Diddnt MMA just come out?
2010 according to wikipedia.
Burnout Revenge was fun.
Old games? They are quite new. Yet we have Valve still updating the HL1, game that came out in 1998. Clearly some companies care more for their games than others.
Their logic makes no sense. If few people are playing these still, put all the services on one crappy server. Don't burn bridges with customers.
Their logic makes no sense. If few people are playing these still, put all the services on one crappy server.
That's not EA's style.
Don't burn bridges with customers.
THIS is EA's style.
How the fuck are this old games. They just shut it down to force people into buying new shit of them.
Their logic makes no sense. If few people are playing these still, put all the services on one crappy server. Don't burn bridges with customers.
If you let players play older [sp]better[/sp] version of their games then they won't the new shitty ones.
Their logic makes no sense. If few people are playing these still, put all the services on one crappy server. CS 1.6 would have died so long ago if EA was running it, along with massive outcry followed by EA not giving a shit.
EA does this to ensure you buy the same game the next year, or at least the year after that I bought Madden and not even a full year later they shut servers down for it... The new one had barely come out I mean, they literally just switch players rosters around, and add new players. It only takes them a week of work to make a new madden game now. I'm so glad their licenses are expiring soon and their monopoly on the sports world will end. Maybe we can see what a Football or NASCAR game can be. Remember Papyrus' Nascar racing Season? Ever since then, with EA only able to make NASCAR games, They've sucked massive donkey cock
Soon enough this will happen with Mass Effect 3, and then you'll be unable to get the best ending without buying the DLC.
Soon enough this will happen with Mass Effect 3, and then you'll be unable to get the best ending without buying the DLC.
Then they will force the DEVS to make Mass Effect 4, and every single level will be a DLC.

The only football games that I think are the most fun are pre 2005. It's proven that competition forces companies to produce higher quality products (Look at IE9 compared to previous versions) and Madden is pretty hard evidence of what will happen when it is gone.

I mean yeah it's sweet that Valve is able to do that, but Valve is in a great situation. They can literally just do nothing and they still make money from Steam. EA and every single other company actually has to do work.
There are rumors that they will shut down BF3 servers in a month.
Old games? They are quite new. Yet we have Valve still updating the HL1, game that came out in 1998. Clearly some companies care more for their games than others.
mainly because you should campare's the amount of valve's game releases and EA's game releases since 1998 valve can have that, as they dont release that many games EA cant, as they releases lots of games within a 2 year period [editline]19th March 2012[/editline]
Then they will force the DEVS to make Mass Effect 4, and every single level will be a DLC.
Why does Facepunch have this undying love for hating DLC? EA/Activision is NOTHING like this. Sure, a $15 map pack is expensive, but they have never done anything like that.
Each time I hear about EA shutting down servers I get paranoid about Bf2142

They're not shutting them down because they're old, they're doing it because less than 1% play these games online, so it becomes unecessary to keep these old games' online services online. [editline]19th March 2012[/editline] The title is misleading IMO
Diddnt MMA just come out?
Sport games pretty much die once the next year's title is released.
EA is NOTHING like this. Sure, a $15 map pack is expensive, but they have never done anything like that.
Guess who published Mass Effect 3.
Since when did Saboteur have online access?
There are rumors that they will shut down BF3 servers in a month.
I'm surprised the master servers for the old battlefield games are still up, actually. I think the 1942 ones are still going.

EA's executives bathe in pure liquid money.
cunts should release dedicated servers or something So mad when the THUG2 copy I picked up once turned out to be useless for MP since the main servers were shut down (different company, similar concept)
There are rumors that they will shut down BF3 servers in a month.
but bf3 like just came out a few months ago that would be bad for EA like really really bad [editline]19th March 2012[/editline]
cunts should release dedicated servers or something So mad when the THUG2 copy I picked up once turned out to be useless for MP since the main servers were shut down (different company, similar concept)
please for the love of god change your title (hnnngh pagestretch)
Sucks for the godfather 2 since a lot of singleplayer content is connected to multiplayer ( You can recruit random poeple for your gang with random abilities, but the only way to give them better weapons is by playing multiplayer matches )
