I've been in need of a new computer for a while now since my current one is 7 years old and i was wondering if you guys could whip up a build for me. I have Windows XP but its 32 bit. I am a student so if you can get deals for that. I have a monitor but its not hd or wide screen its 1152x814 i believe. I would like a HAF 912 Plus but if you can suggest a better case in this price range then feel free. I would like to overclock. I have a keyboard and mouse. I also assume that its an i5 2500k is the way to go. I use scan atm as I get free delivery and offers scan sure if fuck it up. I would like as much room to move as possible, so things like PCIe 3.0 USB 3.0 SATA 3 and a 750w psu may be usful. i5 2500k: £174.18 Case: £62.27 Scansure: £25 So that leaves £638.55 to work with.
I don't have the time to get on any website and look for parts cause I'm busy rendering some crap but what I can tell you to get part wise would be an i5 2500k, any asrock z68 board, 4 - 8 GB ddr3 ram ( speed doesnt matter ), a 560 ti, and maybe like a corsair TX650 or 750 watt power supply, if nobody replies by the time I'm done with what I'm doing I'll put together a build for you. [editline]11th January 2012[/editline] Nvm you're in luck, what i was rendering crashed and flipped the fuck out, I'll have you a build in 5 minutes. [editline]11th January 2012[/editline] This is what I put together and it puts you 30 euro over budget IF you need an OS, I honestly didnt know what you needed exactly so i put this together, if you need a DVD/CD drive or anything else let me know so I can build a more appropriate build. Get the Gigabyte Z68-UD5H as it's on clearance for £129.
Get the Gigabyte Z68-UD5H as it's on clearance for £129.
I don't know if there is a little euro symbol on keyboards over in the UK so would you mind telling me how you type £ so i dont have to copy paste it? Yes its a very dumb question but seriously I don't want to have to say euro everytime if I can just type £.

Euros and pounds are different for future reference

I would like an new os as if i have 32 bit it limits me to 3gb. I do have a CD drive but its a IDE one I think. What is the diffrence between a gtx 560ti with 384 cores and one with 448?
On UK keyboards we use Alt Gr+4 to get the Euro € symbol.
That I did not know. Cheers man. p.s. OP is grammatically incorrect. Don't put the pound sign on the front of the digits if you're going to put "pound" after it, you know? There, I learnt something and gave something back. (Only reason I clicked this thread mind you)
This'll help if you already have a previous version of Windows to upgrade from. http://www.software4students.co.uk/Microsoft_Windows_7_Professional_64_bit_Upgrade_Edition-details.aspx

Also the build I gave you has 64 bit windows 7. Also please give us a complete list of everything you NEED.
I need ANYTHING that goes in the case including the case. I dont need an OS but i want one as this is 32 bit.
So you need a Hard drive, CD/DVD Drive, and everything else?
Yes.
ALright I'll see what I can do.
Thanks i mess up something. I can get a keyboard monitor and mouse, later. I love the shape of my mouse but i hate my keyboard. Edit: Just a note that i'm using a wired connection and probably never will use wireless again. 4gb's to 17 mb's from 10 meters away through 1 wall.
I have be getting more than 900 but i dont want to spend anymore than that but if it is REALLY needed i can. Anyway heres my build. You shouldn't buy a cooler straight away as you don't know if your chip will be a good OC'er, and those fans you included are useless until he's assembled it and checked the airflow.

There is always an advantage to having an aftermarket cooler. They are quieter and i've had the "may only be able to overclock 10mhz" talk before.
Its a good build, im very sorry for not getting back to you I forgot. Just get that build and you will be satisfied with it.
Its cool thanks!
