• How can I transfer files over Wi-fi from my PC to my HTC Desire?

I have recently gotten ahold of a Desire, and as great as it may be, it has some minor flaws. One of these flaws is that it does not show up as a device on, for example, my network screen. I don't know if it's just the phone or if it's something to do with Android, but I can't get it to show up. What this means is that I can't browse through my phone from my PC and vice versa without connecting them with a cable, and then I can still only browse the SD card. I often transfer files back and forth between my devices, and I prefer just being able to start transferring to having to look around for cables. Forget using Bluetooth, the only thing the PC can do is send its contact card and the phone can only use the PC as a headset (which is not very comfortable). And yes, I AM using BlueSoleil for this. I figure, since the devices are connected to the same network, they should be able to find eachother, like my PC and my Wii does (They can't really communicate without a homebrew app that runs on both of them, but at least they see eachother). So, is there a way of connecting the two over Wi-fi so that I can simply transfer files?

Get an app called WebSharing. Great UI and easy to use.
Hmm, that websharing thing looks neat.
