Just so you know how the kid survived the crashes and still caused that many without dying. He was in one of these [thumb]http://www.wallpaperfunny.com/wallpapers/ford-f350-2-funny-wallpaper-640x480.jpg[/thumb]
Authorities say a 16-year-old southwest Florida boy stole a truck and caused 23 crashes as deputies chased him. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports that the boy - a runaway from Arcadia - was riding his bike through Bradenton Tuesday morning when he spotted a red Ford F350 truck that had just been dropped off at a tint shop. He hopped in the driver's seat and drove away. Deputies eventually located the truck and began a pursuit. The truck was involved in multiple collisions before coming to a stop on the Cortez Bridge, which leads to Bradenton Beach. No injuries were reported. The boy was arrested and charged with grand theft auto, reckless driving, fleeing to elude and other counts. The bridge remained closed Tuesday until around 2 p.m.
http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/weird/Florida-Teen-Charged-With-Causing-23-Crashes-248526881.html We can only wonder what his 'reason' for running away would be. Nevertheless, is wanting this kid to never be allowed to drive again a bad thing? Because I wouldn't really have a problem with it. I can't stress enough how lucky this kid is that he didn't die
At first I thought he stole a Ferrari.
Thought he stole a plane. I got no knowledge of planes :(
Just for a split second I thought he stole a F35 fighter jet
At first I thought he stole a Ferrari.
Don't worry. A ferrari would have been out of commission after one crash, and the real owner would either hate his life or love it based on his choices with insurance. Should have put ford truck in title Thankfully this kid doesn't have Microsoft Plane Simulator or we'd all be fucked
sounds like the kid's a real badass if he can cause 23 other vehicles to crash without getting himself injured.
Sounds like a typical session in Grand Theft Auto, only he didn't jump onto the curb.
sounds like the kid's a real badass if he can cause 23 other vehicles to crash without getting himself injured.
You could do that running across the interstate.
Surely i'm not the only one that thought he took a fighter jet.

Kids these days. tsk tsk.

I thought he stole a classy car, but he ended up stealing a hickmobile. Kid has priorities, but they're not in the right order.
I thought he stole a classy car, but he ended up stealing a hickmobile. Kid has priorities, but they're not in the right order.
Is that what pickup trucks are? Hick mobiles?
Is this considered a hickmobile now? Fucking wow
I thought he stole a classy car, but he ended up stealing a hickmobile. Kid has priorities, but they're not in the right order.
You must be from the north.
sounds like the kid's a real badass if he can cause 23 other vehicles to crash without getting himself injured.
Probably the majority of the crashes are from him sideswiping other drivers, who then swerve off the road in panic.
Probably the majority of the crashes are from him sideswiping other drivers, who then swerve off the road in panic.
And also the sheer power that particular pickup truck has

So we need some responsible and loving adults who will help and guide them, so that they can become great people as adults.

Hardly a kid anymore

This kid did the latter and doesn't deserve to ever hold a license again. [editline]5th March 2014[/editline]
Probably the majority of the crashes are from him sideswiping other drivers, who then swerve off the road in panic.
May not be them swerving. It may just be them getting punted off the road like a pingpong ball. The type of truck the kid stole weighs in the neighborhood of 6,500 pounds. It can very easily send a hatchback flying regardless of the inputs given to that hatchback by its driver.
You must be from the north.
I'm from the north, and I have no idea what he's on about. Trucks are the second most popular vehicle here.

Hardly a kid anymore
I'd say 25 is more of an appropriate age. Yes it's highly dangerous, but wouldn't it suck to be paying the price of something that someone else did? You don't stay 16 forever. And that person you were at that age doesn't exist forever either.

If you wanna have fun, slam the accelerator on an abandoned road, not drive the wrong way

This particular guy decided not only to steal a car, he stole a fucking TRUCK, tried to get away from the police (Only logical reason if he didn't stop once, you know, the cops began to chase him) and rammed multiple people on the road. Oh, and don't bring up the "You don't stay X-age forever" card. Makes you look ridiculous and stupid. Hell, for all we know, he could've thought "This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance YOLO" just as he was stealing the truck.

You'd think after seeing one car he hit crash; that he'd realize how much real danger he put people in. I also think not being able to drive again in the U.S is a pretty fair punishment compared to lengthy jail-time (or in his case, juvie). Then maybe down the road if he can prove he's changed as a whole he can have the chance to that rewarded back to him. long ago when I had friends who just turned 16, some of them were responsible enough to pay for their own car insurance, let alone have their own cars to take care of. (if you get a permit at 15 in the U.S you can a license at 16 if you have the permit for a year; atleast in florida)

Obviously a PR stunt by Ford to show how tough and safe their trucks are.
