• I think my laptop keyboard is broken

Ok, so I accidentally spilled some water over the right bottom part of my laptop's keyboard (The Numpad). And now some of the keys on the numpad don't work. Only 3, 6 and 9. To be honest that isn't much of a problem. The problem is that my fn key doesn't work and I can't press keys simultaneously. Is there anyway I can fix this by myself, or do I have to get this to a mechanic?
Let it dry for a few days and see if that helps. (but it near your heater) If not, you might have some mineral deposits on the contacts. Depending on the brand and model of laptop you can open the keyboard yourself and clean the contacts. Do not dry your keyboard with a hairdryer.
HEre is what i get from a keyboard test. When i press q it presses Esc too, W = W and F7 etc. Help? My laptop is an HP ProBook 4515s. It's a pain in the ass using on-screen keyboard. btw is there any chance that it can fry any curcits? God I hope not. I got the laptop only a week ago.
If you just got it a week ago you could try to get it exchanged and play dumb by saying that it just stopped working. You could also get a replacement keyboard off ebay or something but since the laptop is only a week old I suggest just trying to get the whole thing exchanged at no cost. You could use a USB keyboard as a temporary solution
Doesn't matter it just fixed by itself last night. Oh, keyboard you're so funny...
