Here's an idea: Cancel your shit reskin and refund everyone for their copy of Battlfield 4, and incorporate all of it's features into a comprehensive expansion for Battlefield 3. And put a bloody server browser in your game. I have no requirement to "hoorah" that fact that someone has just got a "battle report".

Surely the fact they've decided to actively delay a game(because let's be fair, we're talking about EA here, not DICE or Visceral) is good in the long run? Hell, maybe even a sign that they screwed up royally with BF4 and actually KNOW it?
Well, something like it has happened before. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreal_Tournament_2004
The game features most of the content of its predecessor, replacing it on store shelves. Unreal Tournament 2004 boxes sold in the United States include a $10 mail-in rebate requiring that a short form be completed and sent to the publisher along with a copy of the manual cover for Unreal Tournament 2003.
I know I'm asking for a lot, but after seeing BF4 shat out as a game that was 95% the same is BF3 for all intents and purposes the last bloody thing I want to hear about is yet another version of the same damn game (sorry - with police vs criminals, whoop de do). Maybe I'm not normal, but coughing up another £40 for the opportunity to unlock all the fucking weapons AGAIN on some slightly different maps while the game around me broke did not actually enamour me to the cause. Just as I was getting back into it one of those infernal expansion packs (four new maps) was released and everyone promptly buggered off to those. Perhaps you can understand my vague displeasure at the situation.
I think it shows that EA has maybe learned a lesson about pushing games out that aren't ready. I'm sure BF4 is still a headache for them and they don't want a repeat.
*** REMINDER *** bf4's problems hasn't even been fixed yet. if they didnt watn a repeat they'd fix their mistakes and not push a new ip

Also I don't know if you even read the article at all but they're delaying to try to avoid another event like BF4's launch. [editline]22nd July 2014[/editline] Also a good number of BF4's problems have been fixed. It still isn't perfect and there is no excuse for that trainwreck of a launch but work is being done and the game's in a far better state than before.
