I hate how much praise the show gets
Its honestly just not that good.

it was good season 1 through season 2
but then it gone down the toilet in quality and everyone who was gonna die was so obvious
i tried to watch season 4 but i was bored after 5 episodes of nothing really happening
and the praise it gets is too high i can understand breaking bad but walking dead sucks after season 2.

I would actually say that it got terrible right when season 2 started. Just everything in that whole season was terribly written and was mostly intended for shock value.
The only instance of TWD that I like are the TellTale games. Not even the comics. Not to say that I think the others are bad, just imo. If there's anything close that comes to doing zombies in film right though it's TWD. Like it or not you gotta admit the attempt at drama and realism balances out Resident Evil and zombie typhoon.
*And by that I mean recently, of course TWD isn't the only good zombie anything I mean just recently
I don't know, I like TWD show, and I like that recent episodes took a direction back to survival rather than shooting,killing,hating,torturing etc. The games are ofcourse awesome too, but season 2 started kinda off for me.
The TV show is great whenever they're not holed up inside one place arguing about shit nobody cares about.
Second half of Season 4 is great so far

Yeah, I'm liking it so far and am interested in seeing where it goes. It's not as brutal as the comics or even TellTale's game series, but I like the TV series for the most part!
Someone said it really well in the thread; it's very late into the apocalypse. Everyone has already adapted for the most part, so there'll be much less random deaths.
The only iOS Walking Dead game I'll play is the Telltale games.
The comics are still the best. Not saying the show is bad but the comics are so awesome.
