I basically just wondered if anyone on facepunch Yoyos. Its a Pretty big passion of mine and I thought there should be a place to discus it. Favorite Yoyo should i buy this if i like this, your collection tips tricks and so forth.

^What I've been Throwing recently. Im into undersized 5a (counterweight) but am fluent in all styles (excluding 3a[two handed] and diablo)
I've been trying to get into 4a(offstring) but as far as i can see its not my thing.
and yes yoyoing is a art.

I hope People notice that the yo-yo isn't attached to the string.
There's a kid at my school who's sponsered for yo-yoing. It's made him a huge douche (he was a fine guy before, but now every chance he gets he pulls out two and just does every trick he knows).

I've noticed that there are two types of yoyoers. Those that throw to impress and those that throw because they just enjoy throwing. I would like to think I'm the latter but its always fun to show off some tricks every now and then. After all it is a performance sport meant to be watched.

What is actually happening is that when he wants the yoyo to return he trows the end of the string back into the gap of the yoyo it gets caught and the force of the yoyo spinning makes it climb the string.
When it comes to professionals you will find that they do mess up a quite a lot because they are doing so many complicated hard tricks that they are inevitably going to mess up. But the penalty for messing up is less then the points you will get for actually completing the tricks.
