In a word: no.
In more words: Homefront is how to do almost everything wrong with a good idea. While Homefront has a very interesting premise its story telling and gameplay are lackluster at best. Its game design feels like it was made from a list of everything wrong with modern FPS, levels are very on rails, friendly AI is entirely scripted, enemy AI is unintelligent, pacing is nonexistent, what little control you have is constantly wrenched away from you to make you look at something dramatic, or restricted for talking head segments. There are a good deal of elements dropped in only once and then never heard from again, it feels like there was meant to be a lot more to it, which is in keeping with how short it is. Oddly enough the lack of an individual identity in the singleplayer actually translated to some somewhat entertaining (if now long dead) multiplayer which, while not original, played as somewhere in between CoD's arcade action and Battlefield's larger scale combat. I would also say the art direction is rather nice, the art style is well defined and everything looks coherent and decent.
In fewer words but still more than one: a good idea with terrible execution, I really hope Revolution is better, but I still wouldn't recommend bothering with this mistake.
The Sequel looked like it was going to be 100 times better, but I'm not sure it is still being made.
The multiplayer was an enjoyable combination of Modern Warfare 2 and Bad Company 2 but the servers have since been shut down. What you get instead is a supremely mediocre singleplayer experience that lasts 4-5 hours.

It is still in development at Deep Silver
The multiplayer was fun as fuck while the game was still alive
I really hope that Homefront: Revolution, gives a better name to Homefront. The books made for homefront[Voice of Liberty] are fantastic, and deserve more attention in my eyes as they set the story down much nicer. Things like K-Pop being used to brainwash people into beliving that Un is god and all, it just sets a far more interesting pace to the story. It also explains why the occupational forces were getting so easily rolled.

Yeah I put at least 60 hours into the multiplayer when it came out.
