My pc is a HP Pavilion a6700y http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-pavilion-a6700y/4507-3118_7-33527333.html?tag=mncol;rnav
Anything. It has a PCI express slot.
Also I think the power supply is a 300 watt. So there is a limit as to what I can upgrade to
Look for a 4670, it tends not to need that much power.
here ya go: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121274
With that PSU, 4670.
Ok thanks
You might also be able to upgrade your CPU, as that might be limiting you somewhat. What motherboard is that? It looks like an ECS but you can probably find out.

Is it going to effect gameplay by alot? If so I have no clue what the mother board is so what would you think? I'm only going to play mid end games like left 4 dead and other source games
That processor will be fine for source games.
Yeah, a new CPU would be quite beneficial.
