Help upgrade my computer! - Hardware & Software

I'm currently looking to upgrade parts of my computer to get the best potential out of playing games. Take a look on what i should upgrade next, and give me a hint on what to get :D [B]Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz Memory: 3326MB RAM Hard Drive: 629 GB Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4870 Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor [/B] [B] Sound Card: Speakers (Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 ) [/B] Thanks guys. (stats from x-fire, bit crappy as it isn't showing my motherboard)

Graphics card.

Everything looks good, I guess if you want to upgrade either go ram or vid card, do you know what kind of ram you have? DDR, DDR2, or DDR3? Also, what is your resolution?

the gpu is great dont upgrade it. whats your ram speed and mobo. If you have the money get an i5 +p55 mobo and 4gb ddr3 ram. [editline]10:38PM[/editline] Also depends what games and stuff

Fine, get a 5770 (or 5850 depending on your budget) and get a nice CPU cooler and overclock it

Why get a 5770, that would be a waste of cash considering it gets the same FPS as a 4870 and just has Eyefinity and DX11.

Dont mind the budget as long as its not like £1000. I can save up my money, probably buy something for around £500, i do like the look of the 5850 and i want DX11. [B]Edit:[/B] How do i work out my ram speed? :(

Download CPU-Z off [url]http://cpuid.com[/url] Under memory, it says "Speed: PC2-6400" or so, that's the speed.

Under memory, it just displays: DRAM Frequency : 400.4 MHz FSB:DRAM : 5:6 CAS#Latency (Cl) : 6.0 clocks And so on. There is cycle time at 17 clocks, dont know if that matters.
