6770(1gb) only says 754mb

Just as the title says; dxdiag says I only have 754mb VRAM, anyone know why?

(this is my first PC build, not sure what's going on.)

And mine shows up as 1280mb. There must clearly be a reason why it's showing different.

well my 1gB 5670 shows 2421mB, so there is either something wrong, or it shares memory with my ram or something
