How come in my bios it says my RAM is clocked at 1600, but on Speccy it says 800?

DDR stands for Double Data Rate. The bus speed is 800MHz but the data rate is 1600MT/s.

Double data rate, I forgot why but it shows half the rate... so 800mhz x 2 = 1600mhz
And yeah your ram is pretty fast, it's twice as fast as mine :v:

Double data rate means it reads 2 times every cycle.
Its still at 800mhz it just can read/write 1600 times a second.
