Looks decent, though if the AI is anything like FC3, then the gameplay will be horrible. Thankfully we've had some modders to help fix up FC3. Maybe they will with FC4 as well.
Why do I get a feeling someone's going to make a fuss over the Monkey heads?
heh 0:57 one of the guards walks into the door

Also sometimes enemies would drive their cars into a water pool, only to step out of it and instantly drown.

They always have been, even in FC2.
AI in games is one area in need of real focus. I don't want to fight the Himalayan version of FC3 enemies.
I liked the gunplay in Far Cry 3, it wasn't anywhere near as bullet-spongey as 2 where a guy in a plain shirt could take 2/3's of an assault rifle mag to his chest. That was just lame and combined with the fact you would get chased by a car that would always catch up every 20~ something seconds of straight travel, I couldn't actually be bothered to beat the main story, though with 3 I beat the main story and every one of the camps. As far as I care, the AI in 3 was at least functional - I never felt it was broken when I was trying to use stealth or that they were rushing me too hard or being too noticeably stupid outside of mission scripts like the infamous infiltration one

I didn't play FC3 but the AI in FC2 was pretty bad, no matter where you went there would always be a jeep of people trying to kill you.
FC4 looks good, though theres one thing they can do to make it great for me. Make respawning enemies to fight. It gets boring after awhile when you go into a fortress and kill everyone, then it's empty for the rest of the game.

They'll probably make them repopulate after some time.
Oh cool, there's hope then.

Stopping the attack gets you karma which also has a heavy impact on the ending AND on how often enemies attack. They also got a boost to the AI- every enemy can do what ajay does except for takedowns.
I can't decide if the redone Gloria Gaynor song is badass or hilarious.

It's even harder to program proper AI that is actually THIS good and that's still fun to fight.
This game is looking to be pretty fun. If they've fixed the lack of late game enemies issue I'll definitely pick it up at some point.

Putting a lot of effort into the setting then ruining it by adding some shitty remixed pop song and background dubstep really seems counterproductive.
I hope you can get Ebola from eating bush meat in Far Cry 4, hopefully not as annoying as Malaria was though..

Simply navigating the world was a pain in the ass because of this. Meanwhile in Far Cry 3 enemies were mostly relegated to outposts. Once you beat the game you discovered that you really didn't have anything left to fight with despite having a massive arsenal of guns and stealth tricks.
