Basicly when ever I press a key on my keyboard, my mouse will not move until about a second after the key was pressed, looked everywhere for settings to turn it off but I cant find any, you guys got any ideas?
My laptop model is: Acer ASPIRE 5732Z.
Try installing the software for the mouse.

I think it's a trackpad?
OP it does that on purpose so you don't click on things by accident while typing. I imagine there is some way to lower the delay but I have no idea where it would be.
Yes, it is definatly software blocking the input, but I can't seem to find what is doing it. On the sytematic tuch pad software, it has no options to do with blocking input.
I know its software because if I press shift while holding a key, I can move my mouse until another key is pressed.
Never mind, I uninstalled all of the Acer software excluding drivers, and its all sorted. thank you for your help ;)
How do you uninstall the software associated with the trackpad? I'm having the same problem. Windows 7 Home Premium if it helps.
Open My computer and go on "Uninstall or change a program" and look for things either to do with your make of your laptop or try looking for trackpad software
