Would a donation system for mods be a good idea? - General

Wondering if people thought a donation system for mods would be a good idea, before boostar was used to donate to mods, since there were attractive upgrades and the money you spent on them went to the mod(s) of your choice. However, since boostar was reorganized it now only has a title upgrade for your self, not very appealing and only 5$, and it doesn't seem much like a donation on the surface. An actual donation system would be great since we could choose the price and it would be more public. The mods here do A LOT keeping the forums clean (just look at the event list), and they make the place a tolerable community, and I'm sure they would appreciate donations for it! What do you guys think?

Why not just ask the mods for their paypal and send them some money that way?

While someone COULD just buy themselves an identical title over and over to donate, a boostar option specifically for donating to moderators would encourage donations more.

It's a capitalistic means to ensure mods are more friendly, and fair.. But, there would have to be a rule to stop admins from accepting money in a way similar to a bribe (which was de-mod the mod, and perma the user who bribed).
