At the moment i have duo core @ 2.66 GHz each,4GB of RAM, 450 GB of memory, all in a studio slim case. I want to move all components into this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156098 And put this Graphics Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102825 in it. This is possible and whats the easiest way to do so?
how slim are we talking about
might be impossible
Its 4 inches wide by 13 high and 16 deep.
I need help.
First, case PSUs are 10 cent ticking time bombs, second your CPU is going to rape that video card of FPS. Third only bump every few days, not every 2 hours.
The new case has its own PSU, what do you mean "ticking time bomb"
its over 5 ghz total because its duo core, and the case has its own psu, what do you mean "ticking time bomb"
no no no no noooo
[editline]12:27AM[/editline]
And by ticking timebomb he means the power supply is garbage and is most likely to blow.
Why would my cpu take away fps from the graphics card?
[editline]07:41PM[/editline]
Then could you recommend a good case and how could i compensate for the loss of fps due to the cpu?

Get a core 2 quad or better yet AMD phenom II x3 720 or 710 for like 100 bucks.
I would get a raidmax sagitta II if you want a lot of room, cool lights, but still pretty cheap.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103649 This?
[editline]10:25PM[/editline]
And this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156090&Tpk=raidmax%20sagitta%20II correct?
Holy fuck that case is ugly.
What about this and can someone confirm that as a good cpu or suggest a better one for maybe a little bit more?
And what about this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146025 ?

NZXT are basically the cheap alternative to Antec/Coolermaster.
So buy an Antec or Coolermaster.

Lol, useful post next time please? Don't get derailed by absurd measurements of vajina's.
If you want a case with LEDs and a door, get a HUSH. I have one, its pretty good, and you wont destroy your hand in it.
Is it easy to install and whats its dimensions?
[editline]09:04AM[/editline]
Also would like that confirmation on a cpu and a suggestion for one around the 150-170 price range.
It's an ATX Mid tower, very easy to install, no cuts or scrapes at all.
Should i keep the power supply from my slim or get a new one? If new can you suggest one?
How much would you have to spend?
This processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103649 or one that you can suggest (150$ or less).
This case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156098
Or
This case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146035
Graphics card undetermined and PSU undetermined.
1. Should i get that cpu or give me a better one for 150$ or less.
2. Which case is better?
3. Looking for a graphics card 230 max.
4. PSU 500 watt minimum 130$ max.
I haven't dealt with raidmax cases before, so I couldn't give an honest reply on their build quality.
That CPU seems fine, and for a GPU, since you have a 230 max for it, this is a really good one.
2 gigs of Vram, so you can easily do huge resolutions, and the card itself is great.

Or if you want, you can get a weaker card, and wait until DX 11 cards are released.

Fantastic PSU, with great amps on the 12v rails.

So i have my case, Power supply, CPU, and im taking my motherboard from the slim, correct?
So lastly i need my Graphics card, when are DX 11 cards coming out? Let me know if im missing something.
Lol i also am taking RAM from the slim, forgot.

In a month... Hard drive, you didn't list that.
Oh hard drive is from the slim. And what is/does mobo stand for?
[editline]09:08AM[/editline]
I was also just reading, and if i wait so a month to get a dx 11 i'll wait and see some reviews on it, but since dx10 cards werent used in games until a year after its release should will dx11 cards work with dx10 and below games? Yes rate me funny/box im dumb. Thanks second gear.

Mobo, means Motherboard. Also, yes, the DX 11 card will work with any previous version of DirectX.
Thats what i thought, mobo from my slim would work then, and good ill wait for dx11 if the change is significant enough and theyre not like 350 dollars.

Don't forget the sagitta. These haters HATE it so much because they don't have it. Any case they recommend likely costs 2x as much.
and for the CPU, get a PII 940 if you have an am2/am2+ MB
If i have a what?
[editline]01:07PM[/editline]
And thats a little out of my range.

ok then you'll get about 1/2 the performance with something $20 less.
