Long story short, I have multiple reasons for wanting to press charges on several of my school's staff members. I, unfortunately, do not have physical evidence (well, besides the scans my teacher made of a textbook which he lets students download from his website but that's unrelated to my case), however based on several things they have said I am fairly certain I have a case.
My concern is I'm pretty sure the school's staff would not appreciate being sued and I would be punished, possibly even expelled if I followed through with it. I'm in my final year, so I don't want to risk being expelled before I get my HS diploma. What should I do?
You're asking Facepunch this? Are you that despirate?
Tell us exactly why you want to press charges, 99,9% chance you shouldn't. Unless they raped you.
Unless you have some sort of hard hitting evidence you'd be wasting your time and the time of your teachers.
Why?what have they done to you
To understand the seriousness of the situation, We need to know the 'offences'.
If the school is public, I don't think they could punish you without consequence for suing them.
This thread is basically the equivalent to someone posting "Hey I cried today, did I deserve it?"
You need to be very specific. I remember when I was in highschool, I would superfocus on all the wrong shit teachers would do and be convinced that they were breaking the law with this that etc and wanted to file charges too.
For one, imagine dealing with hundreds of students every single year, 5 days a week for several months.
Imagine doing that over and over for 10 or more years.
It's no surprise that alot of teachers seem crazy.
Okay, spit it out. Where did the mean teacher touch you?
