• [Q] New laptop, problems with Windows 10: GTX965M

Hey everyone, Today I received my new laptop (MSI GE62 2QE Apache), and I've directly installed windows 10 on it. However, since then it's been acting up. I've tested everything when it came on stock with Windows 8.1, and everything seemed to work flawless However, now... I think the problem is that it does not use my GTX965, but uses my Integrated graphics instead. When watching 4K videos/Playing games, it is terrible. Even browsing is becoming a living hell. Also I've been experiencing blurred text in some programs, a very smudgy-blurred font *(Checked clear-type, changed resolution, changed text size, changed resolution of zoom). Does anyone have any idea how or why this could be happening? In Device manager it appears the GTX965M is installed, and it does not show anything weird. Also I can access the Geforce Experience area, and it says all drivers are up to date, and it recognizes it... Battery settings are on high performance . I have absolutely no idea what do to now, and its 4:44 in the morning here.. Kindest regards & thanks in advance
Is each program set to use the 965M in the Nvidia 3D settings? It will use the integrated graphics by default and it doesn't always correctly guess if a program needs to use the GPU. I'm sure its a little buggy because of the 10 right now so you might need to set them manually.

This might be a silly question but you plugged it in, right? Most laptops won't give necessary power to the GPU unless it's been plugged into the charger.
Honestly? I'd hold off on upgrading to 10 for a few months. Roll back to 8.1 if you can. It will have teething problems and people are still making drivers for it.

No problems what - so - ever. I've solved the problem and 4 K games do run smoother, now I have 2 different problems..
