As I'm sure most of you can agree, going to a concert is a pretty damn fun experience...
The dirt...
The sun...
The music...
The people...?
I've seen a few bands live so far, Fleetwood Mac, Roger Waters, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, Sick Puppies, Flyleaf, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Finger Eleven, Chevelle, Three Days Grace (ugh), etc. and I'd have to say... The experience at a concert is awesome and also frustrating at times...
In June I took my girlfriend to see her favorite band at Riverbend in Cincinnati, Coldplay (which I must admit, after seeing them live, I've become a fan). We were in the lawn, which if no one here is familiar with lawn seating...

The whole area of grass behind the covered stage is the lawn area.
... So we waited in line close to three hours so we could get at the front of the lawn, which paid off since Chris Martin and the troupe got less than 100 ft. from us saying "You guys back in the lawn need some love too!" So once the moon was up and it was dark out, we started to get crowded pretty bad by other people. We rented two lawn chairs and had a blanket, which we used to wrap all of our things in and keep on the chair, which I had my leg locked around so I'd know if anyone tried stealing anything. These guys behind us are pretty high, and as I just turn to look around, one guy has a joint and the ashes fall right onto our blanket, I look down, then look at him, he ends up yelling, "Sorry, man! Sorry!" and proceeds to furiously brush it off.
The whole night we had to deal with idiots walking on our chairs to get through, my legs are already giving out because I'm standing at an odd angle holding the chair with my foot, and then I decided it was time to let out my frustration once three girls (with way too much to drink) thought it was time to walk through... Our chairs. The one's stumbling toward me, and my girlfriend just keeps her eyes on the band, I look at her and yell out (because of the noise all around, of course)...
Me - "Hey, there's a chair here."
Her - "Oh... Ok... Hey! There's a chair here, watch your step!"
So she begins to walk forward onto the chair... By this point, I'm fuming...
"OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD!!! There's a fucking chair here!? What ever will we do!? HO-LY SHIT!!!"
Her - She responds with a nasty look.
Me - "There's no possible way we could walk around it!!! We MUST step on it!!!"
Her - She responds, yet again, with a nasty look.
So she proceeds to walk around, the guys that are blazin' it up behind us look at me, begin to smile, and start cracking up, one high fives me, and the others push the drunk girl out of the way.
So yeah, concerts are fun, but god damn can they be annoying.
(F.Y.I. : We rented the chairs so we wouldn't have to waste any energy standing for the 2 hours we had to wait for the music to start, read the whole OP. I said we waited in line 3 hours, therefore, we got in as soon as the gate opened.)
The only concerts I ever went to was orchestra when I was little because my dad dragged me there
I still hate concerts to this day
i went to a concert with my mom that the local radio station was hosting, and everyone was smoking and my asthma started to act up. so she insisted we left. it was whatever.

So yeah classical music sucks, good for noticing.

There's problem #1.
Problem #2 is that you were sitting on a lawn chair at a concert.
This is people in general for you.
They are all stupid.
Not to rain on your parade but who the hell sits down at a concert? In my experience concerts were large groups of people screaming, dancing, jumping around and having a great time...
Edit: After reading the post below, then so what if the spliff ash fell on your blanket? You weren't covered in it, and the guy did say sorry.
Also, it goes without saying that when you're at a concert, pretty much all levels of etiquette are generally ignored.

I'm guessing you're not too fond of real music?
Also, I said I was standing with the chair around my foot, and we only sat down for the first 2 hours when there was no music.
concerts are great places to get mugged.

If you consider mtv overplayed shit to be real music, then yeah, I'm not fond of it at all. Enjoy your alternative rock, I'll be listening to talented bands.
So you brought lawn chairs just to wrap around your foot?

I'm not talking about "MTV-overplayed shit."
I'm talking about bands with actual initiative, real talent, and the ability to write songs from the heart. I, myself, am a musician and have an appreciation for a wide array of music.

n1 u received 3 funies xd!!!
By the way, the horrible troll quoted above gets rated funnies while I get rated boxes.
Go read some of his other posts. Common theme? Still funny to most of you.

"You know how I know you're gay?" <---------- ;)
Anyways, you'll always have to deal with douches in concerts... it's a fact. In Death Metal concerts you'll probably find them pretty close to the band, spitting to them and cussing... or inside the moshpit, showing off his karate-like moves...
Didn't know douchebags actually went to Coldplay (and such) concerts. I thought they revolved around their petty rap and other pointless shit like that.

I never even got close to claiming that I was more intelligent than you; or anyone else.
You are still continuing with the same troll plan. I can't stop it and no matter what I say it only feeds you.
I stop here.
concerts are great places to get mugged.
I left my tent for 2 hours to go to the concert itself, needless to say it was gone when I returned.
At my first Motley Crue concert, I stood next to a couple who were having sex right there. On the spot. It was dark but it was easy to tell.
Strangely, I was aroused. Or maybe it was the screen with 2 nude lesbians masterbating they were showing during Same Ol' Situation. Hard to tell.
The blazed guys behind you seemed pretty cool.
I've been to 1 concert in rock city. The only annoying thing about there is as it's a standing venue moshers usually push the people towards the back of the floor into the steps. It pisses me off to the max. Stadium Tours here are good because it's nearly all seated and if you want standing you pay less for them.

You go to see any bad there, especially a punk band take shit trainers. They WILL be stepped on, plus with the ammount of sticky shit on the floor it's just not a good idea.
I'm guessing you're not too fond of real music?
Oh my God you fucking snob.
After reading you OP, I see the stoners as the lovable scoundrel type.

It's a well known fact that everyone who listens to music is a douchebag in one way or another.
chevelle? you saw chevelle live? chevelle doesn't fit in with (most) of those other bands - they're "edgy" christian rock
