Why the hell are they thinking ahead when there's barely anything we can do with the 3DS we have now?
I don't regret not buying a 3DS now, if they already have plans for a newer handheld.
Why the hell are they thinking ahead when there's barely anything we can do with the 3DS we have now?
people always do R&D on a future product after releasing one.
people always do R&D on a future product after releasing one.
A lot of companies actually start R&D before release as well.
They're releasing way too many. DS DS Lite DSi DSi XL 3DS And only the 3DS is really a different console from the others.
snip
It'll get hacked in the first week it's released.
Shacknews just sensationalizng extremely vague information again, and facepunch failing to read a three paragraph article.
"I really feel like I'm satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is. I feel like it's the best for this generation," Miyamoto told IGN. "What we're thinking about right now is probably going to be for a future generation of handheld." He also said that the gyroscope could serve as a substitute for the second stick.
Its not like they're abandoning the 3ds.
It'll get hacked in the first week it's released.
just like the 3ds [sp]there isn't even a hack out yet for the 3DS[/sp]
It'll get hacked in the first week it's released.
The 3ds is not yet hacked, the only thing that could be called "hacked" is the fact that DSi Flashcards work, but that's because Nintendo can't fix that without destroying DS backwards compability. To be honest, I do hope it gets hacked soon, a 3d homebrew remake of a Quake game would probably be kickass.
4DS Confirmed for 2013
I just want a 3DS with two thumbsticks... [editline]16th June 2012[/editline] Or if they make a downsized wiiupadthing. Aka PSP nintendo style.
Nintendo 4DSi XL Lite - Circle Pad Pro edition.
A lot of companies actually start R&D before release as well.
But they normally do not announce it, otherwise you risk the Osborne effect.
They're not even working on a future console, he just said that they have ideas. Shacknews is an awful piece of sensationalist shit that fails to provide any interesting insight on any topic whatsoever. It really needs to be gotten rid of.
They're releasing way too many. DS DS Lite DSi DSi XL 3DS And only the 3DS is really a different console from the others.
well to be fair the major ones are probably the DS, DSi and 3DS which have all had a 3/4 year gap between them. the rest is mostly just filler
Why the hell are they thinking ahead when there's barely anything we can do with the 3DS we have now?
Because they need to release Super Mario something 3DS 2: Electric Bogaloo 12.
Nintendo really starts needing to play dirty and start contracting developers down to their handheld consoles to increase their survivability, the main reason they're not gaining much money is because 6 months after release there's no fucking new games to play on them.

I want Netflix to start streaming 3D movies so I can watch them on my 3DS. Fuck you Nintendo, for that confusing press release last year where they made it seem like there'd be full 3D movies coming to the 3DS and it wound up just being those 3D shorts.
