So I just got the the first Serious Sam, and I've noticed it's lagging a bit. I've got a 9800GT, but the game (though in the options it says 9800GT) seems to think that I'm running a Geforce 2.
Is there any way I can make it run better or "trick" it somehow into thinking that I'm running a better card (like a Geforce 4 or something)?
EDIT:
I changed it to Direct3D, and it said I was using an "unrecognized renderer" with no change in performance.
