I've been having some problems with my system for the last year or so (fans dying, ram issues etc) I have decided that I want to build myself a nice and clean system - perhaps salvaging some sturdy parts from my existing one to save money. What powersupply do you have? Specifically, how many watts is it?
I have a corsair cx500, it's pretty new and works well. Should be able to handle any moderately good system right?
I have a corsair cx500, it's pretty new and works well. Should be able to handle any moderately good system right?
yes, though you might want to avoid the highest end GPUs. If I were you, I'd wait for the GTX 960 to come out, then upgrade the build around that.
Just pick up a 970 and you'll be good. Any specific features you need that isn't on z68? You're really not going to notice a difference moving from that 2500k
I don't mind waiting a few months if it means a cheaper system with the same specs edit: Here are the list of things I am considering buying now: Graphics card - Don't mind waiting for the latest greatest, but I also don't play new games. I'd rather get something that is cheap/ on offer if it exists New RAM (only because I'm getting issues) SSD drive (i have no idea what is good please help) (I have 1tb + 500 + 500 already in mechanical) Case - something with craftsmanship, lian li? New cpu fan, some case fans etc Am I missing anything?
