In his address to the General Assembly on Tuesday morning, Mr. Trump denounced North Korea and its leader, Kim Jong-un, saying the nation “threatens the entire world with unthinkable loss of life” as a result of its nuclear weapons program.

“If the righteous many don’t confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph,” he said.
Mr. Trump emphasized that it was against the interest of the entire world for North Korea — which he called a “band of criminals” — to obtain missiles and nuclear weapons.
“Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself,” he said of Mr. Kim.
But the president also said America would act alone if needed. He emphasized an “America first” agenda, and said that while the United States would “forever be a great friend to the world and especially to its allies,” his primary responsibility was to Americans.
“All responsible leaders have an obligation to serve their own citizens,” Mr. Trump said. “Our government’s first duty is to its people.”
“In foreign affairs we are renewing this founding principle of sovereignty,” he said. “As president, I will always put America first, just like you as the leaders of your countries will always — and should always — put your countries first.”
While this is indeed true he definitely didn't write this himself.
Just doesn't sound trumpy enough.
“If the righteous many don’t confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph,”
I don't think I could keep a straight face at this or any meetings where Trump tries to pass himself off as a decent human being.
I have a feeling “If the righteous many don’t confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph,” is a really bad thing for Donald Trump to be saying.
I'm just saying, the risk of it backfiring seems higher than it would be for most people.
Lmfao he is literally taking his "Crooked Hillary" shtick and applying it to the world stage

Who actually does write their own stuff?

people with a shred of integrity

All joking about Trump aside, he is totally right. North Korea NEEDS to be dealt with. Missiles have flew over Japan - how long until one of these missiles fall on a countries soil?
The countries of the world are playing a game that could potentially end in an attack on the U.S or another countries main lands and royally fucking up the global economy.
It's all fun and politics until a missile does end up hitting someones home land and killing hundreds, thousands of innocents.

you probably don't know but its not as if everybody is asleep at the helm, there are decisions made based on missile trajectories whether or not to shoot a missile down. we allow them to fire missiles over here and there because we can track them, we can listen to their telemetry, we can ascertain their flight characteristics, and we can practice locking onto them and all the manuvers needed to intercept them. we learn all this without the fallout from shooting down one of these things.

or the consequences of trying to shoot one down, and failing

I guess Obama has no integrity then. Or any other president of the last 200 or so years at least. Presidents always have speech writers. You think they have time to write their own speeches?
Rocket man. LOL.
He's totally right. No country should be comfortable threatening the US, or any major military power, like North Korea has been doing.

Trump could cure cancer and people would still talk mad crap.

If you wanna talk healthcare, Trump curing cancer would stop 171 deaths per year.
Trump getting his way when it comes to health insurance would kill 30 000 additional people per year.
So you don't get to play this card when one of the worst human beings that has ever existed is in office right now.
Not like you're not a gimmick account anyway, 88
edit
Misleading cancer death count, I posted the per capita number. The raw data is over 500 000 deaths. Disregard this post.

So, nobody has integrity then.

*stop 534 000 deaths per year in the US,
your figure was per 100 000 people
I'd totally keep Trump around if he was the key on fighting cancer :v:

Oh
my bad
if trump cured cancer, I'd forgive him for the healthcare stuff.
To shift the goalposts though, does it balance his stance on climate change which will displace millions upon millions?

Let's see if people still talk "mad crap" about Trump if he ever gains the intellectual capacity to actually think about and morally culpable for his actions before we speculate what would happen if he cured cancer.

Wow, who would've thought people would complain about a shithead who hasn't done anything remotely good???
one of the worst human beings that has ever existed
Not even by a long shot. If Trump's stupidity is enough to make you try and compare him to some of the actual worst people that have ever existed, you haven't done enough research on how many shitty people there have been throughout history.

Let me know when he does then mate lmfao
Because so far he's been a fucking worthless president, Must be a total shocker that people are treating him like one.
Trump could cure cancer and people would still talk mad crap.
Trump couldn't ever cure cancer since he didn't even know how complicated healthcare is, these are his words, by the way.

I did say "one of" the worst human beings that has ever existed.
And he's sure as shit up there.

actually a lot of presidents have written their own speeches when it comes to important events, trump is the standout who couldn't write a speech himself without descending into dogwhistles about killing all the mooslems
