Quicktime player hijacks WMP file associations, WMP not in default programs list.

I recently installed Quicktime to play audiosurf properly, but now it seems to have hijacked the file associations on all my .mp4 format videos. I tried to set them back to use Windows Media Player by default, but it's not in the default programs list. I also tried choosing the default program, but when I find the WMP .exe and select it, it still doesn't appear on the list.
No idea what the problem is, but a really good tool for changing file extensions, details, icons and pretty much anything like that is 'Default Programs editor'.
If you have a relatively good technical understanding and know when not to mess with things you can find it Here
