First off, this is the best film I have ever seen, above all the action genres, comedy, everything, this is the best, it touches your heart on so many levels and has a mix of thrill, romance, superstition and comedy, If haven't seen this film you haven't seen anything. Before reading ahead I recommend you listen to this;
In my own words and without spoiling the film; Meet Joe Black (Brad Pitt) is death, but after meeting the protagonists daughter (Claire Forlani) he wants him to be his guide on earth to learn and experience everything, as if for the first time, its all about the journey of how death falls in love with this woman and how Anthony Hopkins tries tie off all the loose ends before he dies, its a very emotional film on many levels.
Wikipedia Article; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meet_Joe_Black Reception; The film had mixed reviews, Robert Egbert said there's so much fine in this film, it got 50% rotten response, but as usual don't let the critics put you off from this fantastic film. Trailer; This film has many memorable moments such as when death shows emotion and develops into more of a person, it has a fantastic score from the legendary Thomas Newman, If I had to rate this film I would personally give it;
10/10
The only downfall to this wonderful film is the length, the original length is 181 minutes and the cut version by Alan Smithee is 129 minutes, I would recommend the original but if you don't have the time, effort or the patience just watch the Alan Smithee cut. If you decide to watch this then enjoy, if you've seen it before feel free to comment.

This is a chick flick that I actually enjoy.
