Hello! I have started gym with a friend and our aim is to get a lot fitter. We aren't very fit as we do ICT every day at college so we aren't much on the move, so I was wondering if any of you experts could give me some kind of routine that we could do at the gym to burn our fat off and build the muscles up, yes we are having a diet change so that will go along with the routine. [editline]6th February 2012[/editline] We plan on going about 4 times a week but 3 of them will be in the gym and 1 will be playing sports such as squash

can you provide source on that [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] please show me how any normal non overly ( super obese ) fat individual will gain muscle while losing fat at the same time at any even remotely practical rate literally the closest youll ever get is like 10 lbs of muscle and -10lbs of fat in like 2 years

Download Starting Strength, read it, do it, add pullups, find out what your BMR is and add at least 500 calories to that, make sure you get about 1g of protein per lb of bodymass, some people say per lb of lean body mass. Or read the threads linked by perfumly.
