I have tons of hard drive space, like over 200 GB but only like 47 GB left, I am sure as hell I don't have that many games so what should I look to get rid of?
Remove old programs, files and such. Do a disk cleanup.

Disk cleanup? You mean defrag?
http://www.ccleaner.com/
Use that, delete unused/old shit and defrag.

Looked at it... I have the slightest feeling it will remove things like photoshop and my games.

Ok for disk clean up I have these checked:
Temporary internet files.
offline web pages.
Recycle Bin.
Temporary files.
Is it going to delete anything I would want to keep?
No.
Delete shit you don't need
defrag does not create space
Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs.
You'll be amazed at how much crap is in there you don't use.
At all.

Simple. http://windirstat.info/
Download this application. It will scan your hard drive(s) and give you a graphical representation of them.
This way you can see what is taking up space. I used this to remove/consolidate tons of ISO files.
Format.
Didn't see him say he wanted to keep his files...
... here come the dumb ratings.
Delete the windows folder.
Delete unused text files, .zip/.rar files, folders, programs, and anything else that you don't use.

Theirs no reason to format just to free up space. Ive had a Windows XP machine with the same OS for 7 years now and it still has plenty of space.
Use ccleaner it wont do any damage.
I'm me from August 2008
No, you're you from July 2009.
Delete System32
Just clean your fucking harddrive for unneeded shit.
As the other people suggests, get CCleaner.
CCleaner and Defraggler, plus try clearing out your Downloads folder if you run Firefox. Downloads can eat up TONS of space. ALSO empty your recycle bin. You might want to invest i nan external and store all your multimedia or disc image files on there and reserve your main HDD for programs and games.
