A woman received the shock of her life on a London train when her fellow passengers suddenly burst into song before her boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed to her. Mobile phone footage shows a lone male singer begin singing Bill Withers' "Lovely Day" on the London Overground service from Euston to Watford Junction on November 1. He is quickly joined by singers posing as commuters, who walk down the train to where Lucy Rogers is sitting. Ms Rogers looks on in amusement as the Adam Street Singers choir fills the carriage with music, before fallsing silent as her boyfriend Adam King appears. Mr King is seen crouching down on one knee to ask her to marry him. Ms Rogers laughs and holds her hands to her face before saying "yes" —at which point the choir bursts into song again. Mr King told the Sun newspaper he had been planning the flash mob proposal since April. "The biggest problem was making sure Lucy made the train — there was only a three-minute window to get the choir, me and Lucy on," he said.
Source: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8370385/woman-receives-flashmob-proposal-on-train
This will change the nation forever!
that's actually really great.
Imagine how awkward it would be to say no. Basically by doing something this elaborate you completely secure your position. Well, at least it shows that he's rather dedicated to her.
fuck fuck fuck i can never do something this grand :|
fallsing
[editline]5th November 2011[/editline] Is it bad that I don't focus on the article, but instead a minute spelling mistake?
Can somebody post a story about an elaborate, well thought-out proposal that the woman said no to?
I kinda wanna do this to some random women just to fuck around. *big song and dance* "Will you marry me?" "Who? What..is this?" "you just got punk'd!"
I dunno it just seems like drawing all that attention really puts them on the spot and makes it hard to say no
Can somebody post a story about an elaborate, well thought-out proposal that the woman said no to?
There've been loads, it tends to happen at Basketball or Baseball games in the USA. It gets more coverage there anyway, they have that bigass TV that shows everyone everything that goes on. Shit hurts to watch
I wish my last name was King.
I wish my last name was King.
I wish my first name was King.
I wish my first name was King.
I wish all my names were King.
I wish all my names were King.
But your initials would be K K K
I wish my boyfriend would do that for me.
Wouldn't that be the most painful rejection in the world if she said no?
Wouldn't that be the most painful rejection in the world if she said no?
Avatar somewhat appropriate.
I thought the title meant "Woman forced to flash her tits on train". Nevertheless a nice article.
Romantic :v: I hope I can be half as good as this guy some day
I don't really like these kinds of proposals since it puts too much pressure on the person to say yes, essentially they're forcing the person to say yes or become an icon of hatred to everyone who saw it.

But i guess saying yes isn't really binding, so the next day the relationship could be ruined.

When you get asked something like this you shouldn't give a SHIT about the people around you, unless you're dumb as shit.

She has all the right to say whatever she wants.
Why should she care about what they think? She has all the right to say whatever she wants.
Too bad the crowd mentality doesn't factor that in. Besides it'll create a weapon-grade awkward situation.
Why should she care about what they think? Would of sucked if she said no.
My girlfriend can not see this video.
Dang, this is better than my proposal at the winter palace
