hey guys, if you don't know, i am a HUGE Fan of anime,Lucky star, especially, i just saw the episode when konata shows her friends her job at the cosplay cafe.
And i decided to do a picture of it

Needs shading, smoother lines, better anatomy(scratch that it's anime), and a better background.

Nothing specific that draws you towards it? It's just not something I've ever been able to understand. Each to their own I guess but be ready for some haters.
Tip , if you're drawing a style that's quite simple in geometry (anime/manga for example) ,
go ahead and use the curved line tool.
I like Anime and Manga too , but in all honesty I can't draw in that style AT ALL :/
When I watch /read them though I'm usually intrigued by some of the storylines (mostly SciFi)
No offense, is it really necessary to put your name on the picture? It's not like it's that good, and I really don't see anyone wanting to steal it.
Her left arm is freakish and needs to be redone completely, the anatomy is almost like that of pop-eye.
The face seems to be in an odd angle and the eyes look fucked up, skip the dark outlines around the head that is covered in hair and you're on your way to a better picture.

Try to use the curved line tool more.
Also, when I color in stuff, I like to use the medium sized brush tool to outline what I want colored, and I thin out the bold outline in the process. I like the way it looks, you should experiment with that.
After that, work on your shading. Until you get better, try to use a reference picture.
I just lol'd picturing a realistic version, with the misshaped head, the nose that's been replaced with a single mole, the mouth without lips and most importanly the rectangular eyes without pupils. xD

Who cares if the Japanese like to make 10-year-old girls seem like they're 18 just to tiptoe around the laws. That Shelke chick in FF7 got some weird genetic engineering done in the age of 9, and her physical development stopped at that age. The thing is that the Japs have realized how stupid the whole paedophilia/child porn concept is, and that's why they're dancing around the laws and morals acting like they don't know what everyone's talking about. Taking away pervs' rights to look at or produce questionable media like that is insane. If they can't look at CP or loli and jack off to that, they need to resort to actually going out to molesting real kids.
