Computer may cost 500 to 700 euros. Like most people here I like to play games and I would like to play them on the higher settings for once.
Went to a computer store and recommended me this:
Coolermaster cenutrion 5 midi tower
recom power engine 550w plus atx voeding ultra-silent
asus MBI p5QL pro EPU Intel ATX (socket 775) pci-e (1066mhz) ddr2
intel core 2 duo e8400 3.0 ghz 2x3 mb 1333 mhz (socket 775)
ddran 2gb ddr2 pc6400 800hmz
samsung 320 gb 7200rpm sata II 16 mb cache F1
asus nvidia geforce 9800 gt 512Mb DDR3 (pci-express 2.0)
A friend recommended me this:
Asus ENGTX260/HTDI/896M
Asus P5Q PRO
Cooler Master Centurion 5 Zwart
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400
Kingston ValueRAM KVR800D2S5K2/4G
OCZ Fatal1ty 550W
Samsung SH-S223B
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS, 500GB
Which one is better, or do you know something better that is around the same amount of money?
The build your friend recommended is significantly better. Also, where do you live?
Are you buying or building one?
Do you have a budget limit for this stuff?
just get a Q9650/Q9550 and a 5870
He lives somewhere where they use Euros.
So no Newegg i guess.

I assume he was stating how much computers cost there, not how much his budget limit is.

He should provide information about his budget, so let's pretend 700€ is the limit.
Sorry! I completely forgot about this thread, I live in The Netherlands and my budget is around the 500 to 700 euros. There is a 200 euros space between because I have the opportunity to get certain parts cheaper.
Edit: building one
just update your current rig with a Q9550 or Q9650 and a 5870 or 5850 and it will be alot more cost effective
My old pc isn't on this thread.
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
That's about it, can't find more in the dxdiag. But just trust me that it isn't that a good gaming pc.
What is you power supply?
A C2Q, 4GB ram and a 5850 /5770 would work wonders.

He could get an i5 build with that budget.
Well I don't want my old computer turned into a better one because this computer will go to someone else, hence I need a new computer.
Should've mentioned that earlier yeah :O
