Haven't seen this on Facepunch, and not too sure how many people here watch but I'm sure there are some and it would be cool to discuss the current/past events of the WWE with Facepunchers.
So.. That double heel turn last night. Raw should be amazing and if Orton/HHH enter with the Evolution theme music, I will mark out even harder than I did last night.

I lost interest in it some years ago, but I watch the ocasional clip every blue moon, and when I do I actually find the drama interesting, since its like I know the superstars in a way. But then I lose interest again and go masturbate
Not Attitude Era 0/10
Paul Heyman for next CEO
Always used to watch WWE about the time Day Of Reckoning came out. Played the shit out of it on Gamecube and when Two Best Friend's Play did it in their Rustlemania youtube series I played it again which was about a week ago.
Triple H will always have the best entrance.

Anybody remember this angle back then?
i imagine WWF ended up coming out on top from that?
i mean i dont know too much about ecw/wcw, but it seemed like a bunch of no-name meatheads vs. the big boys like undertaker and whatnot
Damn, I was hoping Orton/HHH would enter with Evolutions theme music or at least have Orton enter with his Burn in my light music and drop the whole "viper" "apex predator" gimmick shit. Decent Raw tonight.
We already have a thread about this scripted show
In tv and movies discussion
Why would anyone ever be interested in this
I remembers back when I was like six years old kids were calling it out as lame
RIP in Peace Sin Cara

Kids who call it lame are the same kids who call it fake. It's not fake, it's scripted and you can't fake falling off a ladder into a table. When you were six, I'd assume that's around the time when the attitude era was out, and if kids were calling it lame then, they have no idea wtf they're talking about. The attitude era was the shit.

We got a wrestling discussion in Film and Television but no one really uses it. Feel free to use it though I wouldn't mind chatting with you guys during PPV and shows. Also I can't wait for the Rise of the Dragon. YES YES YES!

A scripted fight is a fake fight, so I'm really not sure what your point was there
Nobody thinks they're improvising, that's the point
It's a really dreadful soap opera with choreography
If you've not grown out of it while still in single digits of age, shout to you
"hurr durr its fake"
well so is everything else you watch on tv, gg

The Alliance ended up winning at the Invasion PPV but at the next ppv the WWF ended up winning which was the "winner take all" deal thing
(but the people from ECW/WCW were HARDLY no-name meatheads..people like booker t, chris jericho, rob van dam, and even Austin ended up joining the alliance)
-snip-

When people get hurt, it's a real fight
people get -really- hurt.

The two times I went, it was this lame-ass setup that looked like something from 80's-era WWF because the Toledo Sports Arena couldn't fit the stage.
The third time, after a new building was put there I didn't go, by then I lost interest in WWE and I regret it because I would of saw Bret Hart live on my birthday. I want to one up my uncle, who got a high five from Sting. He even got pics.
I used to watch Raw every week from like 1999 to 2008, but I only watch it from time to time now. Really the only people I enjoy watching wrestle are the guys who have been there for a long time, and Antonio Cesaro.
btw, UFC is much more real and not scripted. and it has no dramas in the arena and backstage
UFC has assloads of drama behind the scenes...

we get that you dont like it, no need to continue to post in the thread about "lelleleolol x is better)
So how many people actually watch Smackdown every week? I haven't really watched Smackdown near as much as I did when it was Thursday nights. Since they moved it to Friday nights some years ago, I kinda lost interest and even more so when the brand split was over.
I play WWF Smackdown a lot these days, does that count.

the drama is my favorite part the UFC sounds shit in comparison
