I look forward to a Black Ops Zombies type of scenario. At least, I gather that's possible now.
I just imagine the Left 4 Dead team is basically 4 guys who hide in the corner of the Valve HQ and basically hit the keyboard whenever Gabe walks by.
Hopefully they fixed my L4D2 SDK with this update.

They made it run on Linux and made the EMS. That's pretty big, unlike taking community made stuff and just copy-paste it into TF2.

it's pretty daft to think there aren't groups of people that work on a specific game, working on one or two others does not shift your entire focus
But according to valve, there is no "left 4 dead" team, anyone can choose to work on whatever
Most are focused on dota 2 and undisclosed projects. I want to believe Half-Life 3 has been sanctioned off for a smaller more dedicated team though.

When Source 2 is done, then we get HL3 Also, L4D1 Coop is rushing paradise. I love it.
I'd actually be fine if Valve made a Left4Dead 3.

"Added the Extended Mutation System" Finally
- Added support for Linux
They're finally getting around to doing this with all of their games.

They should add more original campaigns/gamemodes/etc or charge less money next time.
Neither L4D game was worth 50 bucks. If anything they shouldn't charge as much for L4D3 because it's obviously going to have the same core gameplay as the other two, so for a lot of people it's not going to have as much replay value as the others did.
Did I really preorder both L4D games for $50?!
The first one I did. The second one no. I waited awhile to get the second one because it for sure wasn't worth another 50 bucks and I was unsure if they were going to announce a L4D3 at the E3 after they announced L4D2. I wasn't one of those boycott creeps though.
Neither L4D game was worth 50 bucks. They should add more original campaigns/gamemodes/etc or charge less money next time.
I have hundreds of hours of playtime with L4D2. I can tell you a game was never as much worth the price as L4D2.
Sadly the l4d2 mutation changer guy was let go thanks to this update, rip
