WTF CLOSED ALREADY?!
To the guy with the coating problem on his N4, there's some information about stuff you can buy in the XDA thread I posted a link to in the last thread.
[editline]6th April 2013[/editline]
Some of the links here may be good.

Is this shit closed weekly now?

So this thing is my only option? 25$ + expensive shipping (I'm not from US) for a small amount that may or may not get me up to 3 coatings and may rub off quickly as well doesn't sound too appealing.
[editline]6th April 2013[/editline]
I'm guessing that keeping the phone in your pocket so it keeps rubbing against your jeans all the time also accelerates the process of the coating wearing off since it happened so quickly to me.
lavacano, visitor messaged you a better link list.

You could use it and then get a screen protector.
I seriously think everyone should have a screen protector, anyway.

I hate what screen protectors do to my devices. Even if they feel about as good in use as the glass at the beginning, they will not remain that way for long. Plus the graininess and in some cases the reduction of image saturation and contrast is annoying. I'm okay with a smart cover on my iPad and if I get an HTC One in black I'll get the flip case that HTC makes which conveniently comes in a red color just like my smart cover. I don't really drop my phone or expose it to large pointy objects or grains of sand.
I generally work outside and where I live large dust storms are super common, so I tend to keep a screen protector on all my devices or I'll end up with hairline scratches (even on gorilla glass).

My father is the same way, although he just slammed a car trunk on his phone and shattered it anyway. But I definitely agree it's something that needs to be invested in if you're in any sort of risky environment like that, since there's not really any going back if you go without it and get a scratched up display, but you can take a screen protector off if you find it unnecessary after time goes on.
can someone recommend me some games?
i just got a galaxy express

Which one do you have? It looks like there's two, and the one released a bit later actually seems slower.

That thing is more of a gimmick. Most phones already do have an oleophobic coating on the screen, and no matter how oleophobic the screen is, fingerprints will still show up to some degrees.
I play subway surfers a lot, jetpack joyride is fun.
Then you got your obligatory ones (angry birds especially).
You'll find plenty of good games on the "top free" section of the play store.

I honestly think you just got a dud. If it's really bothersome I'd think it'd be worth trying a warranty claim even if it's a hassle. I know from experience that Apple would replace that on the spot at a store or shipping it to them, HTC would do it if you sent it in, and I'd think Samsung probably would too although my i9000 was way out of warranty by the time it happened.
I'll probably end up getting a screen protector, but I doubt I'll like it. I mean why have a high quality glass screen if you're going to end up putting something on it that makes it look worse and may not offer as good usage experience?

You're getting the black One too? That's three people! :D

They're generally not that invasive, but it's a cost/benefit analysis.
And Kaabii is probably right, LG would probably replace it under warranty.
i have the I437

My iPad looks like this. I think the black One with the red flip case would look amazing alongside it. Both with top notch industrial design, the beautiful aluminium, and the red flip covers. Although the One flip case is black on the outside I think but red on the inside so it's still cool.

I don't know. I never had experience with LG since when I worked retail most people who bought their phones never got them with any sort of warranty through us, since they weren't really flagship devices worth paying per month to keep insured. And I obviously don't own any LG phones since with their software they've always seemed to perform at the speed of every other company's previous generation devices.
Whoever asked "which is charging which?" on that picture I posted
The phone is charging the iPod, and the iPod showed up as a "digital camera" on the phone seeing as it has a photo library :v:

Got it, loved it. But while I was at work today; someone shoved me while I was using it and that caused me to lose my grip with it, then it headed face first for the concrete. Screen is shattered. Google said "You're on your own, talk to LG," LG said "You're on your own unless you fork over $150 for the repairs." No matter what I do I'm going to have to pay too much, I said fuck that: Hung up on LG Customer Service, Cancelled prepaid plans.
welp. I guess that's that. I'm pretty pissed off right now, feel like throwing the phone at the wall multiple times now.
$150 to replace the glass on a $300 phone. Is that some kind of sick joke? I've heard people get quotes from OEMs of $50 to replace the glass on tablets that iFixit deems ridiculously irreparable.
Well I'm thinking about rooting my HTC One V but I need to do a backup of all my stuff in there. Can't find anything about doing a backup that doesn't require a root already.

Try this:

What is the screen on the Nexus 7 like? I'm thinking about getting once since it is only $200.
Anyone got any idea if CyanogenMod saves the Notification light color values in an editable file somewhere? Their color picker is the worse thing they couldve used for a touchscreen and I want to standartize my color values somehow.
What is the screen on the Nexus 7 like? I'm thinking about getting once since it is only $200.
Fairly sharp, but with very lacking saturation, dithered 24bit color, and really bad image contrast and gamma.
FYI, Kaabii doesn't like any screen (there's like two exceptions). He definitely knows what he's talking about, but if I may suggest, don't base your choice completely on his description.
(no offense Kaabii)
