As the title says, rant about games that anger you. NOT A HERO, ughh this fucking game. It comes off as very charming and full of personality at the start but by the time you get to the final 7 or so levels it just starts to fall apart. The game tries to be a 2D side-scrolling version of Hotline Miami, with the ability to pull off executions and fast, frantic combat. But there are some very glaring flaws that completely kill your flow in combat. You see, the way you trigger executions is by sliding into enemies, which will knock them down for a temporary period of time, allowing you to execute them. To counter this, enemies are able to punch you back if you get close to them and are unable to execute them, okay, fair enough, but this is the root of the problem. If you're just a little too slow, the enemy will get up and throw you off. Even if your character is already in the middle of the execution. Then later on, there's these assholes who if you fail to execute them in the already short amount of time you're given, they will throw you off and instantly shred through your remaining health with their machine guns. I haven't even mentioned the instances where I've been juggled between two enemies because I just happened to come out of a door with an enemy in front of it, or punched out a window straight to my death. I want to love this game, I really do, but fuck that punching mechanic.
GTA V Online - Guys driving around in Kurumas attacking people randomly. I mean seriously. The game YELLS for some roleplay, I have met so many nice guys online and there are always ALWAYS guys in a Kuruma randomly start shooting at EVERYONE. They also never say a word when you confront them, NEVER. These fuckers, I hate them so much. F-Zero GX - Oh the difficulty on this game the MOTHERFUCKING difficulty. It's a joke, it must be. The championships are fun but you have to be a GOD with reflexes of a Cheetah to make it past the 3rd level in the storymode.
DOTA and any of the Super Mario Kart games, enough said. EDIT: Even though it's one of my favorite games, Grim Fandango took me to insanity years ago.
Sooper. Hexagon. BEGIN Line. Triangle. Square. Pentagon. GAME OVER
Team Fortress 2, mainly because of the community on pub servers. It seems like every game I join has an obnoxious lenny face-spamming pubstomper with a medic attached to him at all times, its a shame that the community has gotten so toxic. On the bright side, at least competitive matchmaking might fix this when it finally comes.
C&C Generals. ''Hmm, the enemy is going to launch their nuke. Wonder who it'll hi- oh GOD MY POWER PLANTS FUCK! OH GOD NO DON'T ATTACK NOW THAT MY DEFENSES ARE OFFLINE FUCK NO GOD I HAVE NO MONEY FUCK THIS GAME''

Team Fortress 2 Don't get me wrong, it's one of my favorite games of all time, but eight times out of ten it's a stomp fest full of Lenny binding, lime-hat wearing soldiers with Aussie rocket launcher with three medics shoved up their ass.
CS:GO - I just can't be arsed with that shit anymore, getting good and being good is all great and all, and it feels amazing, but if I'm fucking shouting half the time and being shouted at the other half then what's the point?
Project Cars If you accidentally cause your car to oversteer, regardless of whether it's front or rear-wheel drive, it's completely impossible to counter-steer to regain traction. You either have to let off the throttle and have it slide until it finds traction on its own, when half of the field has taken the opportunity to overtake you, or you attempt to counter-steer and about two seconds later the car will suddenly jerk in the opposite direction and you'll be oversteering the other way. It means that very small drifts which you could promptly correct if you're driving a real car in the real world will cause you to just spin out of control in the game. Then there's racing online where people cut corners or ram into you. You try to race clean but as soon as you go to overtake someone, they suddenly and deliberately swerve into the path of your car and knock you off the track. Or if you're going through a corner they'll deliberately rear-end your car to make you understeer and force you off of the track that way. Assholes.
Borderlands 2 in Solo UVHM. Dying a lot in a mission when you're so close to killing the boss pissed me off, so I ended up not playing it again, but I have it on Vita now and slowly liking it more.
might be a common answer, but dark souls i'm on my first playthrough and it seems like the difficulty curve turns into a brick wall for every new area
Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 and on those occasions in Dawn of War 1 when the AI completely spazzes out and you have to yell at the screen to get your guys to fucking MOVE OVER THERE TODAY YOU SHITS.
might be a common answer, but dark souls i'm on my first playthrough and it seems like the difficulty curve turns into a brick wall for every new area
Just remember that (almost) every death in Dark Souls is a fair one. It's almost always due to player error. A few exceptions (spoiler tagged in case you are trying to play through blind): [sp]The Anor Londo Archers - This part is just sadistic. The first time you reach it you WILL die. The Four Kings - Glorified equipment check, very little strategy involved aside from minimizing the damage you take and maximizing the damage you deal. The Bed of Chaos - Suddenly you are playing a platformer rather than an action RPG. [/sp]
USA sure sounds like a scary place to play TF2 EU servers are tranquil and quiet. For some, too quiet. I like it though. Excellent conditions to reflect on the meaning of life, death, and sandvich.

Most RTS games can frustrate the hell out of me, especially Rise of Nations. Blitzkrieging a significantly smaller country, only for them to turn around and suddenly level up to tanks and DESTROY you is the worst thing in the world.
sounds like you're just not very good at this game. even on hard I nuke the enemy to death. if you're talking about multiplayer then i'm sorry, not even god can help you here
Mods. If you think vanilla hard is easy, try the Contra mod. Sheeeeit
Mario Kart games. Getting a 3 star rank on 150cc, Mirror, and 200cc is a nightmare. Gotta place first every race, lest you want to start over. Sometimes things go deceivingly smoothly, but then other times you're tearing your hat out trying the same Grand Prix for the 10th time. And now there's 12 Cups to go through.
Binding of Issac
Playing fighting games online usually gets me frustrated because it's usually filled with people way more experienced than me or has an unplayable amount of lag (Input or just stuttering).
Jak and Daxter 2 and 3. I really struggled with those as a kid, and then I replayed them on an emulator. Good God they really were that difficult! You need to know exactly what weapon and what tools to use against every enemy all the time, combined with bastard jumps and platforming and split second reaction where a single fuckup early on means you can get 90% through the rest of the challenge, only to run out of time at the end. Man, those games were nutbusters. Especially the Krimzon guard raid in the slums. And the tank run.
90% of MMORPGs. While yeah, I can tolerate a grind, as sad as my life is I have better things to do than kill the same monster for a month+ for that 0.000001% chance it drops something that I need. Meanwhile someone who is getting away with running a bot farm has 50 of them, and it would take me nearly as long to make enough money to buy one as its priced so high.

ICO, fuck yorda retarded AI.
Metro 2033 Yes, the game is beautiful. Yes, I love post-apocalyptic slavic settings. My computer might be crap, but I hate the shitty floaty aiming and I hate sections where nobody else does shit, but I'm just bombarded with respawning enemies without any ammo.
the fact that there's a game called METAL SLUG DEFENSE on steam that is a LITERAL PORT OF A MOBILE GAME. and its so shit it even says "tap to start" on the main screen.
Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne. Amazing games, but man, they're hard.
Demon's Souls got on my nerves way too much when I had a losing streak. I know that something keeps going wrong, but the amount of times that I die in one go just stresses me out. Bloodborne isn't too bad for me in deaths, but the enemy and stage designs are freaking me the FUCK out! No other horror game has ever given me a feeling of dread and the fear of pressing on like this game. Another game that pisses me off? One sentence. Three words: "DANCE WATER DANCE!"
Hotline Miami 2 with its bullshit dog AI and goes through fucking doors I'm on the other side of. Also any CoD multiplayer match when I'm on a losing streak, because I know at least a quarter of my deaths are bullshit caused by the laggy-ass playermodels.
Realistic car games in general for me: they're boring at best and frustrating at worst.
Oh don't get me wrong it's a fantastic game. It just seems inconsistent with the controls is all. Like, it will make it almost impossible to exit oversteer without losing positions, but then if you suddenly fully depress the accelerator at any point there's fuck-all in the way of wheel spin. I have no idea why the game has an option for traction control if your car can never lose forwards traction when you have all the assists off.
