Donald Trump's administration has not yet decided whether it will accept assistance from Mexico to help the victims of a hurricane in Texas. The Mexican government expressed its "full solidarity" with the people and government of the US and said it had "offered to provide help and cooperation" in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Mexico previously provided help in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, with soldiers from the Mexican army serving meals, distributing supplies and conducting medical consultations. But while Texas and Louisiana suffered Harvey's destruction, Mr Trump tweeted to assert Mexico would pay for his promised border wall, before going onto attack the NAFTA trade deal.
Source: The Independent Trump tweeted this while Houston was underwater. SWALLOW YOUR GODDAMN [del]PULP[/del] PRIDE AND ACCEPT THE OFFER YOU NARCISSISTIC CHILD.
donald trump is america's greatest mistake
He tweets about the wall after they offer assistance? This twitter diplomacy is absolutely ruining US foreign relations. Surely even trump supporters get that?
Textbook example of who the real threat is to American culture is.
He tweets about the wall after they off assistance? This twitter diplomacy is absolutely ruining US foreign relations. Surely even trump supporters get that?
We dont need help from no damn mexican illegals comin in to our country trying to save drowning people
He tweets about the wall after they off assistance? This twitter diplomacy is absolutely ruining US foreign relations. Surely even trump supporters get that?
I can hear it now. "It makes us look weak!"
What, he thought his last few actions weren't cartoon villainish enough?
America First and that means literally letting Americans die in a fucking storm because I'm too proud of a snob to accept help from a country I've been alienating since day 1.
I'm glad my situation is made worse by some orange cocksucker who cant let some bullshit wall that wont work go
You guys act like the government didn't accept help from other countries when trump was not president and there was a disaster. IIRC there is a reason we don't accept it. Stop making everything about Trump. I'm not even a pro-Trump person and still don't see this as Trump's fault in any way.

What a shitbag. In a sensible world, there'd be a massive outrage over this. He's letting his own people suffer and is clearly unfit to serve, why is he still President?
Wow imagine being so self absorbed that you're willing to not only consider rejecting help when parts of the country that you're supposed to be leading is facing a crisis, but you actively show your ass to them in return. What a fucking dick.
They'll just excuse this as "Mexico would have sent criminals / rapists / etc"

Be a pal and offer a fellow country help in times of need Get spat in the face in return and literally told to fuck off
Did you not read the article? However that be said I do think they should at least respond to them either rejecting or acceping the offers since it is such a bad event.

This is a disaster of unprecedented scale for Texas. As the leader of this country, how can you see pictures like this: and reject aid from our neighbor and ally?
Remember MAGA fans America FIRST AMERICA FIRST

It's all to pander to his votebank of moronic idiots who'd prefer to die than accept any help from the Mexicans who took all their jobs and money. [/s]
Not only rejecting help from our close neighbor and ally, but insulting the country that extended the offer on Twitter? Truly admirable leadership. Nobody destroys mutually beneficial diplomatic relationships greater than Trump.
Trump. When are you going to learn that welcoming help does not make you weak as a president when the people need help the most.
Yeah Trump, plenty of other things make you weak as a president. Accepting aid is not one of them. In fact, not accepting aide makes you look 100x worse as people are starving. But hey, it's worth it to keep your fucking degenerate fans, right?
If the GOP have any patriotism or love left for their country they'll be asking what the hell he's playing at. I doubt they are.
Well, I think I'd take George "You don't care about Black People" Bush over Donald "I don't care for anything unless it has dead Presidents on it." Trump. I said he was the demonstrable wrong with American Capitalism, and boy is he making my words true.
This isn't about pride; he's trying to drive a stake between Mexicans and American Citizens. Nothing is worse for his bottom line than, god-forbid, Mexicans helping and leaving a good impression on one of his potential electoral states. Having Mexico help would only weaken his stance on THE WALL. It's all a fucking work.
Hell, when Katrina hit, Japan offered aid and was hot to trot to give it to their best friend, America. A few years later when Fukushima hit, I saw hundreds of Tweets that said dumb shit like "this is payback for Pearl Harbour". Canada took in the hundreds of planes stranded in the air when America shut down its airspace during 9/11. Thousands and thousands of travellers from America (and many other countries) were stuck in Canada for up to a week. In many communities that took in planes, citizens in the community opened up their homes to the stranded and gave them a more comfortable and hospitable place than the temporary emergency shelters set up in school gymnasiums and such. The Americans who were stuck and their families expressed no end of gratitute and appreciation to their hosts and to Canada as a nation for taking them in and treating them so well during a major crisis. It took George W Bush more than two years to officially thank Canada for helping. America has become diseased and the symptoms are no empathy, no charity, and no notion of trust that isn't maintained by a gun barrel. And that's before President Annoying Orange came along.
Well, I think I'd take George "You don't care about Black People" Bush over Donald "I don't care for anything unless it has dead Presidents on it."
[t]https://i.imgur.com/B7ArMgQ.jpg[/t]
Please be fake accounts like he's been proven to have. PLEASE. Edit: I'll still take incredibly stupid but I'd really like to believe they were only pretending to be retarded.
