San Diego Comic Con: 2012

[b]What is it?[/b]

Comic Con is an annual even held in San Diego where a bunch of geeks (Us) goes to look at and preview a bunch of geeky stuff. Generally pretty famous people attend (I believe Harrison Ford was there last year), there's free promotional stuff from upcoming movies, games, and comics. There is also a sales floor, where people bring, and sell various collectibles. So far, various comic writers and artists are confirmed as guests, and more will be announced in the following weeks. This year, it's being held July 11th-15th.

Tickets are no longer bought on site, nor can next year be preordered on site. August 2012 is when online orders are taken from Comic Con attendees.

The only reason I'd go to hasbro's booth is for bonfire fuel.

But other than that, I don't buy much anymore, mostly just get my photo taken with people and random asian toursits that like to show their victory sign.

If you got a ticket this year, you can order tickets for next year in August.

If you don't have tickets, than you need to wait a bit longer before the general population can buy any.

Basically, if you aren't in now, chances are, you never will be in.

Every year it's gotten more popular, once you could get a day pass on site for waiting in a line for 30 minutes.

Now you need to jump through hoops to get a pass.

Also, no armor tomorrow, as it's tiresome as fuck to walk in for hours. Though the amount of photos I got and interviews was crazy.

As for another clue is, my brother will be nearby in a full fursuit, so yeah... And he asked me to buy him a Derpy hooves figure for his friend. So combin0wnage was right...

Supanova looks much better than this.

Either way, where I live there are no concerts/conventions/etc. (would have to drive ~5 hours to the city to attend any) so have a good time guys who are going and take lots of pictures!

I went to Supanova Sydney as well and whilst it was bigger and probably better, I spent more time at Smash so

The trench coat idea was trashed and I went back in armor. Saturday I went in a gasmask /stalker look as I wanted a lighter costume. All good until some shirt booth people cheered me on as a CoD character.

Sunday, gonna go armor again and grab a lot mor pictures hopefully.
