I think what makes this book one of the saddest I've ever read is because as you read it, you try to find a connection between the dog and the car, only to find out that the car ran over the dog, right in front of the kid, and just drove away, leaving the dying dog on the road. I may be 16, but even I actually cried while reading the book. Have you read it? How'd it make you feel?
I hated when George killed Lennie
=b didnt realize most fp members don't read (edit) books note-this isnt in response to the above post, it was meant as an addition to my original post.
Finish it however you want it to end.
.
It's the simple things I read because I cannot comprehend adult-level writings
reminds me of the movie "my dog skip." i cried when he got hit with the shovel.
.
Not really. I read a mixture of things, and I find it's nice to read a good short book from time to time. I'm not pompous or assertive, I'm standing up for myself. Pretty obvious.
I'm reading the North-West Passage. Barely put like 30 mins in and I'm almost done.
I'm not pompous
You are, for trying to lord your reading abilities over the first person to reply, while evidently not recognizing he was referring to a much better and more challenging book
You are, for trying to lord your reading abilities over the first person to reply, while evidently not recognizing he was referring to a much better and more challenging book
I meant to add it to my 1st post, but Latias responded before I posted it. If I was referring to Latias' quote, I'd use a quote box.
and so you're infamous with one fine swoop. Good show lad
When I saw the title I thought this was going to be about a furry game.
When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about one of the worst movies John Cusack ever acted in. That was called "Must Love Dogs", though. Needless to say, I was disappointed.
