OEMs like HP and Dell ship discs with the computers that reinstall the OS along with all their bloatware crap and such. Is there any way you can do this for a home-built computer? I know SysPrep is a tool for doing this, but i can't figure out how you put this on a set of DVDs to reinstall the OS along with all your stuff.
My old Toshiba came with a system image disc that had their crapware preinstalled, I'm guessing that's how most of them do it.

I'm trying to figure out how to make one.
What about "Create a System Repair Disk" in the start menu?

That just repairs it, i want to re-install the OS along with all my junk.
If you're on Windows 7, go Backup and Restore > Create a system image + Create a system repair disc. The repair disc will give you the option to restore from the system image.
What OS? I've just created a recovery disk for XP using a pre-built rar file some guy made based off of the recovery disk floppy files microsoft has avalable to download on their website. It's very finicky though, you have to change very specific settings in the recording software and do very specific things otherwise it won't work and the disk won't be bootable.
Install your OS, and tweak it the way you like it.
Install all updates and updated drivers possible.
Use Nero BackItUp, Acronis TrueImage, or similar backup software. They all pretty much let you back up to a bootable DVD to restore your data. I recommend buying some good quality dual-layer 8.5GB media for backups. Saves alot of headaches and disc swapping.
