Recently I bought this build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/SonyTwan/saved/1YNw
However, the graphics card that I purchased was falsely advertised and was infact a different model number, which uses one 6 pin connector and one 8 pin connector, as opposed to the 2 x 6 pin (which the card is advertised as) that my PSU supports. I believe this to be the main problem anyway, my computer wouldn't detect the graphics card, despite all connections being secure.
So basically I need a similar graphics card which is compatible with my build and supports 2 x 6 pin PCI-E.
Did you talk to customer service and get a new card/your money back, if not I would suggest doing so at once. However, you should note that the 6+2 pin power connector is not designed to fit into a card with a 6 pin and a 2 pin power connector. The 6+2 pin power connector fits into either a 6 pin connector or an 8 pin connector (by putting both the 6 pin and the 2 pin into the power connector slot). This means you just use two 6+2 pin connectors in your card.
In that case hold on, the 2 pin connecter never crossed my mind.
Fucking hell if this is the problem I'll off myself.
Thanks again for your help with the build before anyway, went relatively smoothly (took about 2 days with the 24 pin connector being a bastard and cutting myself on the heatsink fins). :v:

Yep I'm dumb as shit, thanks again.
Still getting compensation for false advertising.
