So I've been trying to practice some with After Effects, 3Ds Max along with actual video footage.
I wanted to make a short video that combined the three and this is what I came up with.

The cloud video was actually taken from an airplane I was flying on so all content was created by me.
I'd like to know what you all think so please let me know. :)
Creepy as shit for some reason.
I don't like the low framerate. It could as well be a problem from my side, but it was at a pretty low framerate here. But else, pretty cool.
Is it supposed to have the effect of stop-motion when the crystal like thing comes out of the ground?
Ok good, i was hopeing that i wasn't the only one with low framerate.

That was the look I was going for with the main spiked ball. Perhaps I should just make it 24 frames a second as to not give that feeling. Maybe it will work better then. Thanks guys! :)
It looks kinda odd with the stuttering behaviour but you can clearly see it's not a framerate problem since the star thingies move smoothly. So dunno.
