[release] http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/10/middleeast/gallery/satellite-images-of-syria/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 [/release] Some of the images remind me of WWII carpet bombing aftermaths. Really bad shit.
It's amazing those were taken from 300+km up in space And whoever rated funny is an asshole
That's fucking horrible :( And how is this funny?
I can't wait until Assad and his military higher-ups get put against the wall. There wont be a fair trial unless the west intervenes. The people of Syria will come down on him like a stack of bricks, he can't keep blowing up his own people forever or until he runs out.

Oh wow he's even bombing mosques, hospitals and schools. What a fucking asshole.
Oh wow he's even bombing mosques, hospitals and schools. What a fucking asshole.
Wow he's even killing people. Who cares about a bunch of buildings..
Oh wow he's even bombing mosques, hospitals and schools. What a fucking asshole.
I doubt they even have proper aiming system to be able to avoid such delicate targets.
Wow he's even killing people. Who cares about a bunch of buildings..
I was implying that he was bombing elderly, wounded and children. Those buildings are supposed to be safe zones during wartime.
I was implying that he was bombing elderly, wounded and children. Those buildings are supposed to be safe zones during wartime.
True, but nothing is safe in war.
True, but nothing is safe in war.
Fucking this. It's war. War has no rules despite what many believe. If there were, why not just make a rule "no killing" and be done with war? Oh probably because no one follows these rules.
And this was what libya was like. It looks like it'll be alot worse in Syria

Oh probably because no one follows these rules.
There are certain rules like the famous Geneva Conventions. How effective the rule enforcement in form of political pressure or sanctions are is another thing of course, but I'm not an expert on that topic. These rules aren't supposed to stop war, but they're supposed to prevent unnecessary cruelty through poison gas or by targeting people that just want to save lives.
I doubt it, Assad seems fairly thorough in regards to dealing with the rebels, I think he's making sure he doesn't end up like Gaddafi.
I don't think you can drown out that kind anger among the civilians without killing them all. The rebels and everyone who supports them, in their growing numbers, won't forget about this before Assad does. It may take a lot of time and even more dead people but unless he flee's and erases every trace of his identity (even facial reconstitution surgery) he's already got it coming.
The rebels in Syria seem less organized than in the Libya uprising. In Libya they quickly formed a central command and assembled tank platoons and such whereas in Syria the rebels look more like an unorganized angry mob.

We [West Side Nationz] need to get our heads out of China and Russia's asses and start doing something soon.
I did not know artillery shells looked like that.

And I doubt western media constantly howling "oh they're so unorganized!" isn't helping their image.
I'd like to know where the hell all that water came from.
busted water pipes maybe, or just lots of rain
this thread gives me a real sick feeling in my gut
:v:
busted water pipes maybe, or just lots of rain
But they live in the desert and are too primitive for such western advances such as plumbing! :v:
The rebels in Syria seem less organized than in the Libya uprising. In Libya they quickly formed a central command and assembled tank platoons and such whereas in Syria the rebels look more like an unorganized angry mob.
The Free Syrian Army has a chain of command but there are other rebel groups alongside them which are less organised. The Syrian National Council set up a military bureau two weeks ago to try to organise the various groups to work together but last I heard they were having some trouble getting the different groups to agree to hand over command
I'd like to know where the hell all that water came from.
Most probably collapsed/damaged/blocked drainage pipes from the destruction and collapsed buildings around. Burst water pipe's probably an element too
thats gotta hurt
