isn't this game a grindfest?
The NA release will change the economy and way the game works for Western audiences. This tends to happen with most Korean MMOs when they go Western.
Yep, AFAIK the game will also be Pay-to-play for Western audiences. So there might not be any microtransactions or grinding bullshit for West release.

-im dumb and cant read the article :^)-
you would think the article would highlight the main importance of the news, which is that they're opting for a b2p format just like guild wars, rather than f2p for the western release.
I actually haven't heard of a single korean mmo that's completely changed over the drop systems and the like for 'westerners.' or at least, a popular one. so unless you guys have a source for that nonsense, it won't happen parity patches would be a nightmare
I know it's not Korean but warface changed a lot from it's original Russian version that charged out the ass for blatantly overpowered weapons, so it's not a totally alien concept.

It'd be cool if they combined this model with basic micro transition stuff instead of subscriptions.
My only disappointments when I played the Korean version was that the character customization is extremely misleading. Tried to make someone with brown hair like 10 times and it always ended up a red. Also it's hard to make old men if you aren't a Wizard class. Also gender-locked classes.

I've been looking forward to it, but I'd like to play around with it a bit before dropping actual money on the western version.

Wouldn't recommend it. Some things are just silly and stupid when your only source of info is an "Engrish patch".
