Wow Killzone 1 might actually be fun now, not that I'll get the chance to play it tho, sold my PS3 last year. (kinda wish I didnt do it, missed out on Uncharted 3, Infamous 2, and The Last of Us when it comes out :( )
thats actually a really smart move to do that beforehand
A lot of companies do that; Bioware did all their textures at 2048x2048 and downscaled to fit the requirements of the Xbox 360. It's much easier to paint detailed textures when you're working at a high resolution, and it's also very easy to downscale as necessary. Working in the opposite direction is a pain in the ass.
This might be a chance for me to play the first Killzone.
I can't believe that I missed this one.
Killzone 1 is really nostalgic for me, I might pick this one up.
I played only a moment of Killzone 1 demo but i played through killzone 2 and 3. So i will surely pick this one up. Still wishing for that killzone 4 :v:
One of the few high-budget game franchises developed in the Netherlands. I only played the 2nd instalment, Never really found the need to play the other ones.

The first one was a really good game.

If my memory is not too nostalgia biased atleast.
I loved the first one and how you could play as the different characters with different play styles. I felt rather disappointed that that was lacking from the second.

I fucking loved Killzone 1 but I don't have a ps3 to play 2 and 3.

it's almost like Sony knew
I liked KZ1 and 2 but the hardware could just not keep up with those games.

2 didn't have any problems :v:?
Yes!
I've played Killzone, but it just feels too stiff to be enjoyable. I welcome this enhanced remake with open arms.
I also hope they bring the multiplayer along too.
i still have the case sitting on my shelf.
Wish I had a PS3. I'd love to play Killzone again without the horrible framerate problems it had on the PS2.

incredible input delay.
incredible input delay.
That was intentional?
That was intentional?
lmao
That was intentional?
How is input delay intentional for any game?
How is input delay intentional for any game?
It can very well be intentional. Besides the only "delay" I noticed when playing it were actions like the cover mechanism, looking had a heavy feel to it, but it wasn't delayed, movement even more so, it responded to your input, it just felt really heavy.
Which to be honest, felt kinda cool.

The heavy feel was also in the first game because you couldn't jump.
And the point of the heavy feel was because they were loaded down with gear :v:
I loved it.
They heavy feel/response delay was entirely intentional by the design team.
