I'm just wondering what the smell of it's like and how long the smell lingers with you.
Also, any good tips on having a good trip?
Well the stuff I have smells kinda like apple in the bag. The smell isn't very strong from my experience, but I don't really have a good nose haha. And if you have some chill friends to be with you and make sure you don't freak out it's always good. If you go into the trip thinking positive thoughts, it'll go well. This is just kinda from personal experience, but I find that I trip harder if it's dark out, but that could totally just be me.

Smells like tea before burned, practically odorless when smoked is what i've found.
A good trip depends on what concentration you're smoking, but of course, as said before, no matter what concentration, always have a good mindset.
If you're scared that you'll have a bad trip, then you will. Be confident and open minded.

This, and use a bong. I don't exactly know why, I held it the same amount of time for both a pipe and a bong, but when i smoked from my pipe i didn't trip nearly as much as when i smoked from my bong.
I don't get the whole jet lighter thing. I know that people say it works better with a jet lighter, but I've smoked Salvia with a normal lighter a few times and tripped pretty fucking hard. Do you just trip even harder if you use a jet lighter?

UGH this is not even true, I've used a normal lighter and it was the same experience as using a torch lighter...

A lot of the hallucinogenic chemicals have a latent heat of vapourisation higher than what a regular lighter provides.
Maybe you took in more when you used a regular lighter than when you used a torch lighter?
Salvia works just fine with a regular lighter. Just make sure to hold the flame on it until it is all burned up.
Yeah, it's all about the amount of energy you're putting into it.
If you're burning it for longer the regular lighter'll be fine, but you're definitely better off using a jet lighter.

dude salvia is not fun at all. i remember after smoking it two times in a row and having the two worst experiences of my life thus far i got really fucked up. i felt and saw a bunch of spiders on me and began to strip frantically in front of my friend half-screaming as his mom walked into the room.
oh, and if you ever decide for whatever dumb reason to try salvia, make sure you're with friends and you each go one at a time waiting for whoever is tripping to be done and go onto the next person. If you're tripping on it and someone else in your group is too their freaking out/laughter/etc will really freak you out probably.
Salvia affects people in different ways. I've never had an unpleasant trip on it before. It was intense, but not unpleasant.
I have two friends who stupidly tried it for the first time in the middle of a field in the middle of night. It was 60x, too. Needless to say, they never want to do it ever again.

it's so retarded, the most retarded part about it is the brand name was purple sticky salvia, like being sticky and purple getting you higher applies to all drugs, even weed for that matter (i've gotten some pretty dank nugs that had no detectable moisture, and you can turn bud purple if you put it in your freezer or some shit).
It's funny, because Purple Sticky is the most common brand to find in a headshop, yet it is usually shit
