I'm sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable with tablets, but I was wondering if anyone knew about any tablets i could buy that are cheap...I need one that displays the screens image on the tablet as well (I've seen ones that don't) and are good quality. I also want photo shop but I can't pay for it because I'm only 14 and I can't have a job until I'm 14 and 9 months(2 months away). If anyone knows about photo shop being given away free then yeah...
Thanks in advance,
Jordan0795.
If you want one that displays the screen on the tablet they won't be cheap. Although one without the screen is great too, by moving the pen above the tablet the mouse still moves on the monitor, so you know where the mouse is, if that was your worry about the screen on the tablet.
The Bamboo Pen is pretty cheap and good, I'm going to get it for Christmas.
Rule of thumb: Always go with Wacom.

Also, if you can't pay for Photoshop, that are good free alternatives like GIMP.
I've heard GIMP isn't anywhere near as good as photoshop... true? also.... the mouse moving on the screen as you move above the tablet is good too... kewl thanks for the tips... (what is wacom?)
aslo... is this good or bad? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/WACOM-BAMBOO-GRAPHICS-TABLET-PEN-IN-BOX-MAC-OR-WIN_W0QQitemZ150380094316QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Input_Peripherals?hash=item23035a236c&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 ... I've never bought anything off of EBay before
(I live in aus by the way.)
GIMP is good but Photoshop is way better.
If I'm not mistaken, all the Wacom tablets bring a free version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, that should be good for you. Wacom is a tablet manufacturer, the best one, everything else is low quality so Wacom is the only trustworthy one as far as I know.
Also, that one should be good for you but I'd recommend buying a brand new one instead of used. Those Bamboos can go by $80 to $100.
You get what you pay for.
O.K. then thanks for the tips... I don't know what photoshop "elements" is...

Photoshop elements is garbage, stay away from it.
Explain...?
Explain...?
Everything good in photoshop has been removed from it.
Really, it's a program your mom could use for editing her holiday photos, nothing more.
lol... umm ok...
That sucks.
I'm gonna get photo shop off of a friend if i can...I probably would use it if i can't...
I know the perfect thing to get. Easy Paint Tool SAI.
which is?
Photoshop CS4 is amazing for tablets. Mainly because they added a rotate view tool, which has proved to be quite invaluable for me when it comes to tablet painting.
Cool, but what's Easy Paint Tool SAI?
Seriously, stop asking what things are, just google it. It's not that hard.

I've been told Paint Tool Sai is good because it's real simple and takes up a really low amount of space. But Photoshop is the one to get in the end.
Also, been told Wacom is the best.
If you can't afford Photoshop and won't [sp]torrent[/sp] it, then you might want to look into Artrage.
